Disappointing experience. 1. Hotel's parking is a block away across the street. Parking spots are tiny, larger cars will have hard time parking. 2. Air conditioning units are those portable things on wheels. Right in the room. Very loud, turns on/off all night. 3. Windows open sliding up - don't stay open, too old/falling apart. Also have no screen. 4. Room is the tiniest I ever seen in hotels. 5. Bathroom sink - stand alone sink with no space to put toiletries on. Pros: Clean. Great location right near the beach. Rooftop bar, restaurant onsite and great Mexican restaurant across the street. Friendly service, front desk person was very helpful.

Very friendly service, amazing location just steps for the beach and their rooftop is wonderful for viewing the ocean and it’s wildlife. It also has nice historic charm and a laid back vibe.

USB ports didn’t work and the refrigerator was non-functional. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly with dirty wash rags left behind overloaoked by the maid and when I complained they said they should’ve brought it up immediately but it was too late when I checked in and found all this out, and I let them know the following morning. They need a few lessons in hospitality, and to bring back the breakfast That they included in the resort fee.

***warning*** here is our experience… check in was quick and easy, parking was a block away so that was convenient. We drop our belongings in the room and head out for dinner and a concert. When we get back to the room and start to pull the sheets back we notice a piece of poo in the bed, literally a piece of poo. We do thank the front desk for getting us a new room right away and that room was fine. But back to issue at hand… what the actual? Most disgusting and disturbing this I have ever experience. As a VIP Gold ******* member I travel a lot and this is a first (and hopefully last) I contact ed management the following day and to reply back to you… NO a food and beverage coupon for my next stay is not acceptable for what we experienced. We will never stay at your establishment again. Disappointed guest

It’s was very hard to get any rest, unfortunately there was very load footsteps and shuffling of furniture 3 out of the 4 nights of our stay coming from above our room from 1am to 5:30am. The staff was notified multiple times and unfortunately nothing was done about it. After doing some exploring myself I found cleaning personnel at the roof top bar above our room at very early hours. Not sure if there was also noise coming from the rooms above us. Thought for sure we would at least be offered to move rooms, but unfortunately no manager even attempted to make contact or resolve the issue.

I loved the old charm. The staff was awesome. The rooftop and hotel restaurant was convenient with good food and drinks. I will very much return to the hotel in the near future.

Half a block to the beach, rooftop bar with panoramic ocean views, good restaurant, super friendly staff. What a great place!

Room condition is a little old. No hot water to serve, AC is loud when it is on. It is just ok. Only good is the location.

Quirky, cool, little hotel. Ideal location for downtown Laguna and surrounding towns. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
