米蘭達別墅精品飯店(Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda)

Oberhalb vom Praia do Mos liegt das Hotel in einem Villengebiet, ia einem Hang mit einem sagenhaften Terrassenblick auf die Küste. Wir waren zum Essen dort. Lage, wie gesagt, top - Interieur gepflegt und etwas stark dekoriert, für unsere Verhältnisse - Personal, äußerst geschult und lebendig, trotzdem nicht anbiedernd. Essen gut, aber nicht überwältigend, Weine zu teuer und nicht angemessen in Preis/Leistung. Trotzdem zum Dinner schon einen Besuch wert.

Where to start….. Our stay from start to finish was incredible. The photos of the hotel do not do it justice. The view at breakfast every morning is stunning! Romeu and his team made our time amazing! They made us feel so welcome. The room was immaculate and the dinner in the restaurant is honestly one of the best meals we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to return next year!

I was only here for one night. The hotel was nice and the restaurant was good with good service and an excellent breakfast. However, I got a luxury suite and the room was old with beat up furniture, faded fabrics, dark bathroom, and a view of the ocean that was mostly hidden by trees. Also, the gym has no A/C and the equipment is crammed into a tiny space so they can say they have a gym.

Not only is the hotel's location truly exceptional (very few establishments in the world can boast such a spectacular view of the sea and cliffs), it's also a haven of greenery and calm in an increasingly touristy region. The team charmed us with their kindness and humor. The restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) was far beyond the other restaurants we have visited in town. The only tiny drawback is that the decoration of the rooms is rather divisive. We plan to come back once a year to unwind and recharge batteries - our stay was a true gateway from business life. ENJOY !!

Well what can I say. We were lucky enough to have been recommended this lovely little Portuguese style boutique hotel by friends who have not stayed (only because they have a villa very close by) but have eaten here many times. This review is about lunch though, possible one of the best and most chilled lunches we have had in a long time, and we have had a few I can tell you. Spent the morning by the pool (no queuing for sun beds here for sure)! We then decided to take a break from the beautiful view and sun for lunch. A few steps up from the pool area and we are greated by the excellent team and seated for lunch and another amazing view. Nice cold beer and sparkling water delivered in quick time (thankfully) and then the lunchtime menu and wine list arrived. Now I’m not a big eater as I’ve had a gastric bypass, but I opted for the prawn peri-peri tagliatelle and what a choice that was! Lunch arrived and Kaz had ordered a chicken Caesar salad. Timings and service amazing with the front of house team allowing plenty of time to immerse ourselves into the beautiful surroundings at our speed not theirs, very attentive without being obtrusive. Back to the food (sorry a little distracted). What can I say?! I think I have just eaten the best pasta dish I have ever had (and I have had many as and that’s why I’ve had a gastric bypass, lol) and it was in sunny Portugal! The prawns and pasta were to die for but the star of the show was the peri-peri sauce. Never tasted anything like it. Kaz’s chicken was amazing and the accompanying wine went down great. If you want amazing food in wonderful surrounding then this is certainly the place to eat. If you are in Lagos or the surrounding area then this is a must and well worth the effort to find this little piece of paradise.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Die Stimmung einmalig. Essen im Garten mit Sicht aufs Meer. Sonnenuntergang geniessen mit gutem Wein. Einfach toll. Der Service outstanding. Romeo ein guter Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne Wieder.

Stunning property with beautiful views! If you are looking for a serene getaway in Lagos, this is the place! The location is perfect, a short walk to a beautiful beach and a quick Uber ride into town. The staff are lovely, they go above and beyond! Beautiful restaurant on site as well. Highly recommend and will return if I am ever in Lagos again!

The view from the restaurant is spectacular. The table settings, the waiters the food the service was faultless. A truly fantastic experience. So much choice on the menu we can't wait to return. The best restaurant in Lagos.

Im Anschluss an unsere traumhafte Küstenwanderwoche erschien uns das Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda zuerst ein wenig falsch ausgesucht. Doch schon bald genossen wir den wohlverdienten Comfort. Das Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Meersicht, welches im Nebengebäude lag, bot keinen direkten Meerblick, da das Hauptgebäude davor lag, was mich ein wenig störte. Der Blick ging vor allem auf dieses Gebäude und den Eingangsbereich, wo die Fahrzeuge parkten. Und klar, das Meer sah man auch. Ansonsten war das Zimmer gross, das Bett einigermassen bequem und das Badezimmer hervorragend. Die Angestellten waren freundlich, aber etwas unterkühlt. Das haben wir in der Woche davor in einfacheren Pensionen ganz anders erlebt. Da wurden wir viel herzlicher empfangen. Vier Sterne für die Bewertung hat das Hotel von mir bekommen, weil die Aussicht wirklich fantastisch ist. Vom Pool aus sieht man zum nahegelegenen Strand (max. 10 Min.) mit zwei Restaurants. Liegen und spärlichen Schatten kann man mieten. Das Restaurant im Hotel hätte sogar 5 Sterne verdient. Das Essen war hervorragend. Nicht so zufrieden war ich mit dem Frühstück. Wir gehören eher zu den Frühaufsteher und da war immer nur ein/e Angestellte/r vor Ort, mit mässigem Engagement. Das Buffet hat mich nicht so überzeugt. Immer dasselbe. Specials wie Eier, Käse und Pancakes konnte man separat bestellen, ansonsten gab es eine kleine Auswahl an Brot, Früchten (nicht so überzeugend), Konfitüre und das Übliche. Meinen Tee musste ich immer bestellen, Kaffee konnte man selber rauslassen. Übrigens etwas, was mich im Zimmer störte, war die Nespressokapsel-Kaffeemaschine. Als Teetrinker ging ich leer aus. Einen Wasserkocher hätte für beide was gebracht. Was die Lage des Hotels ansonsten betrifft, bis ins Zentrum von Lagos ist es zu Fuss zu weit, da braucht man einen Mietwagen. Die Parksituation beim Hotel ist etwas seltsam. Da wird man zugeparkt. Wenn man das nicht will, parkt man besser draussen, vor dem Hotel. Die Gartenanlage vom Hotel ist absolut traumhaft gestaltet. Wirklich wunderschön. Würde ich nochmals buchen, dann ein Zimmer mit Gartenblick. Dort hat man 2 Liegen und mehr Platz. Die Balkone bieten nur Platz für ein Tischchen und zwei Stühle.
