蒙特別墅飯店(Hotel Villa Monte)

Dit hotel is goed, maar niet speciaal. In onze badkamer zit een schuine kant boven de wasbak, dus uitkijken met voorover buigen.. Beetje sneu dat er geld wordt berekend voor het parkeren van de auto. Kennelijk weten ze in het hotel ook zelf nog niet goed hoe er mee om te gaan. In de informatie map staat parkeren gratis. Dit is vervolgend met pen doorgekrast en is er EUR 4,50 opgeschreven. Aan de balie wordt EUR 5 gerekend. Geeft de indruk dat er een verdienmodelletje is bedacht voor de personeelspot... Neem dit bedrag op in de kamerprijs en wek niet de indruk uit te zijn op extra betalingen.

Posizione molto centrale e ben tenuto, semplice ma buona la colazione, personale cortese. Per arrivare a 200 caratteri che cosa diamine devo ancora scrivere? Il testo di una canzone di Guccini? La ricetto del vitello tonnato? Eh? Ah, ecco.

The hotel is in an ideal location, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. That said, I would strongly recommend avoiding it during the spring/summer. They do not have AC or even ventilators (no, really) in the rooms. You cannot open the windows since they do not have insect screens (no, really) and the area has a lot of mosquitoes, as others have commented. I understand that the weeks leading up to our stay had been unusually warm, however, they were not very keen on accommodating us - when asking for a ventilator, they simply said "they cannot make any promises" (see below). Putting it bluntly: during the first night, if I would have let a dog stay in my room, I could have been sued for animal endangerment. I'm not exaggerating. After multiple requests we finally got a toy fan shown in the picture (see pillow for scale). I was able to acquire a proper fan, else, we would have either had to leave or get a heat stroke.

Very nice and sumptuous building redesigned in hotel. Small hotel with charm. Clean. Pitty that it's very noisy, misses some isolation. You can rent a bike which is great because the region is great to do bike trips.

Big problems with damp in the ground floor rooms! Mouldy window seals in bathroom and damp bedroom carpet. Breakfast very disappointing: mouldy blueberries in the yoghurt (pattern emerging here?) and same stale fruit on offer both mornings we had breakfast. Hardly the deluxe experience you think you might be in for based on website pics.

Nice hotel, good breakfast and great location. No air conditioning and no window screens, so despite the fact that we had only opened 1 window in a tilted position, after the light had been switched off, the room was still full of mosquitoes, so something could be done about that.

The rooms are nice, but there is no AC and no ventilators. I did not sleep at all and became ill of the heat in the room. No service to check you in, you have to pay 5€ for the parking and when you come back at night from the wedding, there is no parking space. Some people parked in the street next to the hotel, but in that street on a Sunday, there is a market, so some unlucky guests had the suprise of the their car been towed away and a fine. The hotel could have warned for that. The lady at the breakfast in the morning is not the most friendly person on earth. I would not advise this hotel in the summer months.

the room are right and the breakfast too. the problem with this hotel is that there is nobody to welcome you: just a machine for making your check-in. You must be prepared and have your booking reference or QR code with you(be sure to have internet connexion on your mobile!) I got my key card but did not see the room number during the process - I had to give a call to the "hotel" to know what was my room number. When checking my e-mail at night, I saw that I received an e-mail with the room number. so be prepared to not be welcomed in this hotel for the checking.
