Muy buen servicio, la comida excelente, la ubicación del hotel, todos son amables vuelvo pronto 🙏🏽👍

La comida está bien no es excelente pero es buena El entrenamiento es bueno el hotel en el Área de la picina y restaurante y por Fuera es excelente pero las habitaciones no me gustaron sucia y en mal estado y todo muy viejo y gastado y otra cosa que no me Gusto es que fuman mucho y en todas las áreas asta donde hay niños muy desagradable

En el loby un total chou desde la 8 hasta las 9:30 esperado perdi 41 mil peso por culpa de su expleadas las habitacion Orible si aire reporte como 10 veces y siempre me estaban cambiando la habitación en el restaurante los expleado mal trato soy cliente de ustedes del catalonia punta cana me encanta aya pero este de Romana fue un desastre en todo los aspectos

Muy mal servicio en cuanto a los alimentos,el bufete horrible y en los restaurantes sino reserva no puede comer a pesar de que cuando uno llega al hotel le dicen que sólo en uno ocupa la Reservación

Me gusto mucho la comida, las instalaciones limpias y bonitas. La piscina es bonita y la playa espectacular.

The resort is huge and very well maintained. Landscape is outstanding, the beach is clean, the water is turquoise and the food is somehow edible.The only thing that marred the stay was poorly trained room cleaning personnel. It was always something forgotten after the room was made - either small towels, or medium size towers, or coffee packages, or sugar, or water bottles... Every day something new was missing. I naively thought the tips would speed it up. Wrong! Tips were taken and ALL towels of all sizes were forgotten to be changed. To be honest, the Front desk was helpful though. Bottom line: Dear Catalonia Bayahibe, please train your personnel better, teach them that money and tips don't fall from the sky, they actually have to earn it. Besides that it is a great resort!

On the positive side, the property is very clean and staff are hard working and friendly. The beach is a beautiful turquoise, sunsets are beautiful and beach chairs are plentiful within a shaded palm forest. The pool has a lot of corners and nooks that are great for small children. There were some clear negatives, though: 1. There was a huge building being built on the property while we were there in November 2023. Even when complete, it will loom over the property. 2. The buffet was quite local in terms of food. Some days it was good and other times basically inedible. The buffet area is oppressively hot and stuffy. 3. The resort and beach feel a bit cramped and crowded at all times. 4. The sit-down restaurants were pretty middling in our experience and the quality of ingredients wasn't great. Very nice atmosphere, though. 5. The beach is fairly steep, with very soft sand, and somewhat tiring to get to and walk on.

Great beach with clear water. Front desk service was good and responsive. Dinning staff was awful, they did not come by to check on you if you need more water or anything else, had to hunt for them yourself. Alcohol options are terrible, the worst I have seen and we travel often. Waiters do not exist at the pool/ beach areas, if you want anything you had to get it your self. I would rate this hotel as solid 3 stars.
