米特魯南飯店(Hotel Mitru Sur)

A good hotel with spacious room, enormous bed and nice bathroom. It is very quite, 15m downhill walk to the teleférico. It is far from the center. Personnel very helpful in a case of gastroenteritis I had, they sent me to a clinic where they treated me very well. There is a piano night every Friday and Saturday. The mojito in the bar unfortunately was made of sprite!.. The only drawback is the fact that breakfasts starts at 7am, too late to catch all activities staring from La Paz downtown.

I stayed here nearly 2 weeks, rooms were fine, bed very comfy, small fridge and kettle in room very handy while working at my desk. Staff were all really good, friendly and attentive, most speak English. Did not try the pool, but looked fine. Some really interesting nostalgia antiques in the many lobby display cases too. The restaurant was okay, but there are a LOT of good choices in the area. Things to know. This is a nice safe area, I had no concerns walking after dark and finding my way around. Buy big water bottles at the minimart at the corner. Less than 15 minute walk straight down the road to the cable car station, from here you have wonderful inexpensive access all over the city. Take a ride just to get oriented. Taxi company across the road was fine several times I used them. Lastly, there is a large group of nice restaurants about 8 blocks away, had a number of nice meals there. Walk is less than 15 minutes either way, or take a taxi. But as noted, I felt quite comfortable walking here compared to many Latin cities.

El personal es estupendo. El recepcionista Felipe el mejor, demasiado amable y atento al igual que todo el resto del personal. Las instalaciones hermosas y nos quedamos asombra con el equipo de sonido en todo el hotel de primera calidad

I broke a lamp by hitting my head in it because the hanging lamp reaches head level, I am 1.85 m tall. They charged me US$75 for the broken lamp, when this lamp shouldn't be that high. In short, it's a good place for dwarves, no doubt, otherwise go elsewhere.

Muy lindo hotel, con muchas áreas para disfrutar en familia. Excelente en servicio al cliente en él hotel, restaurante y bar, nos trataron de Maravilla. Sin duda esperamos volver pronto, en mi experiencia la mejor opción en la Zona Sur de La Paz

Service is outstanding, even overwhelming how much staff continuously offers help and solves even the most minor needs. Facilities beyond what you would expect for a hotel this size. Well sized and distributed rooms. Comfy bed. We had a gorgeous view of the La Paz landscape from our room. The only thing that can be improved, and maybe it was only our room, there is a sewage smell at times in the bathroom, that even seeps into the room.

Me encantó, es un hotel donde encontras mucho gusto y detalle en cada ambiente. La atención de su personal muy buena al igual que los alimentos y bebidas de su restaurant. Volvería sin dudarlo. Se los recomiendo en especial si van en pareja. Es "la opción" en la zona sur de la ciudad.

Quedé impresionada por la arquitectura y decoración del hotel, además de la comodidad de sus habitaciones y excelente servicio. El desayuno muy completo y con un rinconcito boliviano. Asimismo, tienen una amplia oferta de platos a la carta. Tienen también un área de gimnasio, piscina, salas de reuniones y un super bar con una vista hermosa en el último nivel del hotel, donde podes apreciar la ciudad. Volvería siempre a este hotel, además de la buena ubicación que tienen también! 100% recomendable!!!

This is a newer hotel with all of the amenities you would expect. The lobby is small but inviting. The rooms are large and comfortable and are spotless. The bathroom is large and modern, with a rain shower to boot. We had only minor complaints here. One was the lack of AC, as the room was quite hot. The other was the use of motion sensor lighting in the halls. When you exit the elevator to access your room, the halls are dark. The motion sensors have a delayed response, so it's difficult to find your way and poses a potential safety issue.
