Pagué más por este hotel que por otros que estaban por la misma zona esperando algo más... Es un hotel sin más, para pasar una noche si te queda de paso, si tienes una boda por los alrededores, etc. La habitación estaba muy limpia pero es un poco claustrofóbica. Pequeña, los techos muy bajos y el baño más pequeño todavía. El desayuno no es gran cosa. No se ajusta la calidad/precio.

Estuve con mi novio y mi perrito. Nos dieron la habitación de la azotea y que maravilla. Una terraza enorme con maravillosas vistas. Habitación limpia que te sentías como en casa . Hotel precioso, con mucho encanto, no le faltaba detalle. Casa histórica que merece la pena visitar porque es un monumento. Muy céntrico. Recepcionista muy simpático, amable y cariñoso. Desayuno muy bueno con cocinero atento. Repetiremos!!

Excelente servicio, el desayuno buenísimo y la atención inmejorable, hemos ido varias veces y repetiremos sin duda. Está en el centro de la Orotava, calles bonitas para pasear. Cierta dificultad para aparcar pero esta vez tuvimos mucha suerte.

El hotel es pequeñito, las habitaciones son grandes, con cafetera y botellas de agua de cortesía. Tiene una terraza/ solarium en la parte superior con buenas vistas. Muy familiar y tranquilo. Está muy cerca de los jardines y de la casa de los balcones. Gracias a Lucia por su simpatía, amabilidad y buenos consejos. No pudimos cenar en el restaurante porque estaba cerrado esos días. Tendremos que volver! Desayuno muy bueno.

First of all, La Orotava is a charming historic town definitely worth a stay of 2 or more days and The Rural Victoria is in the center but uphill so you get views of the town and coastline below. Both town and hotel are very romantic. We were lucky to get a rooftop room and had amazing private panoramic views. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good and we had everything we needed. I would give this 5 stars but there were NO reception services! When we checked in there was a note to use the code that was emailed to us ( rooms are accessed by a keypad). We did not receive an email so we had to telephone someone to get the code. During our entire 2 night/ 3 day stay there was no one to help us with anything. We had to ask the kitchen staff for beach towels as they were the only staff we could find. I had a dental emergency and telephoned the same person who gave us the check in code, who was not helpful at all and told me to look on google for a dentist! If you want restaurant or touring suggestions or any reception services, this is not your hotel! But if you are the independent type ( and have a sense of adventure and humor) and do not need these services, this is a lovely, well located hotel. Only other complaint is that entrance to hotel and to hotel rooms is with keypads that are so old and faded, you can barely read the numbers. If they continue with the use of keypads, they need to be upgraded so they are readable.

The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent - beautifully presented food! We enjoyed the salmon and entrecôte dishes. The bread at the start was free and was very tasty with local dips and a sweet treat. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The local beer and wine were appreciated too !
