Booking beforehand was easy and personable , direct through the owner Hilary. That stay was great, quiet at nighttime and easy walking to 4 restaurants, the lighthouse and the Agulhas national park, the southernmost point in Africa. An added bonus was that we could watch the lighthouse lamplight slowly sweep to lighted path through the night sky. Simply beautiful! I would most highly recommend staying at South Point.

So, visiting South Africa for the first time from England, over 5 weeks we visited quite a variety of guest houses while travelling various areas. And this was by far the best ever experienced! I had doubts about the 'all white', but it worked and emphasised the clenliness. Kitchen was perfect and had everything you'd need and neatly stowed away. Emergency lighting during load shedding was a very thoughtful and beneficial bonus. Hilary was delightfully chatty and great host. Sorry this is all so gushing, but it really was better than anywhere else we stayed! Needless to say - recommended!

It was a cute studio type place, well furnished with kitchenette etc, location was great, it was quiet, neat and airy. good for a couple , who needs privacy, it's close to the South point, light house and eat out places.

This centrally situated accommodation allows for easy access to all places of interest, which includes numerous pleasant and safe walks in fresh sea air and boasting beautiful scenery.

We had a excellent stay . Very neat and tidy rooms. View to lighthouse and sea as promised. Host assistants and concern during our travel after a car breakdown was highly appreciated. We will definitly come again.

The service was great from the website to the calls made and received. The room was clean and warm given the weather changes.
