Do NOT stay here if you want a good night's sleep! The 2-2inch thick mattresses on the very hard floor are impossible to sleep on and the room is sparse. We checked in expecting to stay 3 nights, but after 1 sleepless night, we were forced to find other accommodations. They refused to refund the 2 nights we did not stay ($2000) and then had the nerve to try and charge me for a $5 beer from the tempura dinner the night before!! Very rude and non-appologenic. We could not wait to get out of there and to a friendlier, more comfortable hotel. I would NOT recommend this establishment. Two other couples at the Tempura dinner said they would never stay there, they just dine there. Don't believe the rave reviews! You're welcome.

我們在京都的第一晚住在吉川酒店。它位於城市的時尚地段，距離錦市場約 10 分鐘路程。我們覺得受到了很好的照顧，熱情好客是入住傳統日式旅館的原因之一。在大廳喝了一杯歡迎茶後，我們被帶到了我們的房間。那裡有傳統的日本甜點等著我們，也帶我們參觀了房間。它很大而且佈置得很傳統。我們的窗戶可以俯瞰一個小庭院，另一個窗戶可以俯瞰一些屋頂。很浪漫。我們在隔壁的 Tempra 餐廳吃了晚餐，非常棒，感覺非常正式。第二天早上，我們被帶到了一個大餐廳，可以俯瞰我們見過的最美麗的花園。我們是房間裡唯一的人。食物精緻、美味、豐富。客房服務員幫我們拍了穿著浴衣的照片。整個體驗超出了我們的預期，我們會再次入住。我們在提出飲食限制之前與業主進行了溝通，他們非常樂於助人並且能夠滿足我們的需求。很棒的日式旅館。
