歷史飯店

Stayed here twice during our trip in Georgia. Nice, clean hotel with good beds near the Bagrat Cathedral and within walking distance of the city center. Rooms are spacious with fridge and watercooker. They provide parkingspace too. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is good.

The hotel is a beautiful Georgian house. The breakfast is of good quality. Nevertheless it's very loud and the room faces the terrace with the noise and smell (cigarettes) that it brings. The room is also close to the receptionist who entertains himself with his phone, it feels he is in the same room it's quite disturbing. The bathroom faces the terrace but has no curtain or shutters: if you shower, people can see you from outside... Not great !

Владелец отеля Константин заслуживает отдельного упоминания: встретил радушно, всё рассказал, показал, налил домашнего вина, по договорённости свозил ещё в пещеру Прометея и на домашнюю винодельню (не свою). Сам отель небольшой, на несколько номеров. Мы брали 2 номера- 4-х местный номер и номер на двоих с терассой. С террасы открывался панорамный вид на город и храм Баграти. Номера были просторные, для старинного здания хорошо обустроенные. В общей зоне внизу можно посидеть около камина, выпить чай/кофе/чачи/вина. Вино в бутылках можно там же купить. Завтрак тоже приносит сам Константин- всего немного, но домашнее и вкусное. Из минусов- ездили в январе, сначала было очень холодно в номерах, пришлось разогревать их кондиционером. В душе нет ни перегородок, ни шторок, что приводит к лужам на полу. Константин сказал, что дверцы в душе будут, но их пока не привезли и не смонтировали, так что этот момент скоро уберут.

Siamo arrivati in Georgia all'aeroporto di Kutaisi ed abbiamo soggiornato una notte all'hotel History. Il proprietario Konstantine è stato gentilissimo: ci ha accolti offrendoci della Chacha, tipica grappa Georgiana, accompagnata con del miele e mandarini. Inoltre, per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze è stato disponibile ad anticipare l'orario della colazione rispetto all'orario previsto. L'hotel è bella ed accogliente, ed il centro di Kutaisi si raggiunge facilmente a piedi con una passeggiata. Il letto era comodo, e la camera con un ampio balcone offriva una bella vista sul paese. Prima di ripartire, Konstantine ci ha donato una bottiglia di Chacha da portare con noi. La sua gentilezza ci ha scaldato il cuore. We arrived in Georgia at the Kutaisi airport and stayed one night at the History hotel. The owner Konstantine was very kind: he welcomed us by offering us Chacha, a typical Georgian grappa, accompanied with honey and mandarins. In addition, to meet our needs he was available to bring the breakfast time earlier than usual. The hotel is nice and welcoming, and the center of Kutaisi is easily reached on foot with a walk. The bed was comfortable, and the room with a large balcony offered a nice view over the village. Before leaving, Konstantine gave us a bottle of Chacha to take with us. His kindness warmed our hearts.

Hotel History is a truly great place to stay in Kutaisi. The area around the hotel is peaceful and beautiful, offering a relaxing escape with lovely terraces to enjoy the view. The hotel itself feels very authentic and gives off a strong Georgian vibe — charming and unique. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. While the location is a bit far from the city center and situated up in the mountains above the city, it’s worth it for the tranquility and atmosphere.

This is the best stay we could have wished for. Konstantine and his family gave us a nice welcome and made sure every moment was a good time. We were able to have nice conversations, jokes and he made sure we were able to see a lot in the area. Breakfast is made fresh every morning, the room was clean and these people are great. It was nice drinking wine. These people made sure this was a memorable trip. Hope to see you soon!
