海爾森飯店(Hotel Zum Hirschen)

Totale Enttäuschung!! Die Terrasse sah einladend aus. So dachten wir dass wir hier bestimmt etwas gutes zum Mittagessen bekommen. Leider Nein! Das Essen war schwer geniessbar (fertige, ungesalzene Pommes, Pizza wie aus dem TK, Poulet direkt aus der Fritteuse ohne Gewürze, Salat langweilig). Schade, dass man ein scheinbar altes Traditionshaus so herunterwirtschafted! Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder!

Really excellent Hotel and fantastic service. I stayed for only two nights, booked on very short notice (same day) and arrived at the hotel at midnight, well after normal reception hours. The hotel arranged for a key to be left for me, and a very clear welcome letter and instructions were also provided. The rooms are big, very clean and well maintained - likely quite recently refurbished. Although I didn't actually use the wellness facilities, I did take a look and they looked very good (and very clean). Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice of fruits, yogurt, meats, salads, breads, eggs, bacon, good coffee, etc etc. and plenty of tables to accommodate many guests at the same time. Location is ideal - 100m from the heart of the town, and around 150m to the main CityXpress ski lift. There are 2 or 3 ski rental stores within 50metres also, and the hotel has a separate ski gear storage area include heated boot rack. There is also an outdoor cafe/bar area for apres ski drinks. The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating to any requests. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if skiing in Zell.
