A recent one-day stay at Fariyas Resort, Lonavala, was unfortunately disappointing and fell far short of expectations for a property that markets itself as a premium destination. While the location and initial appeal of the resort promised a relaxing getaway, multiple issues, particularly concerning staff negligence and overall hygiene, marred the experience. The most striking flaw was the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Upon checking in, we discovered that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Stains on the bedding, dust on the furniture, and a musty odor made it evident that proper housekeeping standards were not maintained. Given the price point and reputation of Fariyas Resort, this level of negligence was unacceptable. Even after notifying the staff, the response was lackluster, and no significant effort was made to rectify the situation promptly. The dining experience at the resort also left much to be desired. During the buffet, there was a noticeable lack of supervision, leading to several disturbing instances. Most concerning was the sight of unsupervised children putting their hands directly into food dispensers, causing hygiene concerns. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, there was no immediate action taken to ensure better monitoring or uphold basic food safety standards. For a property of this stature, such lapses are not just disappointing but also unacceptable, especially given the current emphasis on health and safety. The overall attitude of the staff was another major letdown. From the moment of check-in, there seemed to be an air of indifference among the team. Requests for basic services were either ignored or met with significant delays. For instance, it took repeated follow-ups to get fresh towels, and the lack of attentiveness extended to other aspects of service as well. The staff's behavior at the reception was particularly discourteous, which set a negative tone for the stay. While the resort boasts an impressive location and visually appealing surroundings, these positives were overshadowed by the glaring operational inefficiencies and lack of attention to guest satisfaction. Simple steps like better housekeeping protocols, proactive staff training, and stricter supervision in the dining area could go a long way in improving the guest experience. In its current state, Fariyas Resort seems to be resting on its laurels, relying heavily on its location to draw in visitors while neglecting the basic principles of hospitality. Las instalaciones del Hotel son excelentes con una atención personalizada con mucho respeto y amabilidad de absolutamente todo el personal, en el Restaurante siempre tuvimos exagerada atención de mis amigos Souvik y SEJAL, y de todo el demás personal de todas las Áreas, los felicito por la atención que tienen hacia el Cliente lo cual es muy difícil y a veces casi imposible en el resto del mundo. Claro que recomiendo ampliamente este lugar y por supuesto que volvería a hospedarme aquí con todo gusto.

Very well managed and maintained property. Rooms are very comfortable. Food is delicious. The staff is well mannered and polite always ready to help. Our F&B assistant mr Souvik and Miss Neha arranged all our need and took care of our special diet need....

An absolute treat when u love water , good food and grand arrangements, had a fantastic time in Fariyas with Family. The tidiness of the premises is as expected - it was crowded over the weekends, but had adequate capacity. The food had variety and buffet was taste-rich. The highlight was definitely the pool area, with kids you can really have a fun time. The quiet garden was also a good place to spend sometime talking to yourself. Special mentions - In reception Charu and Firdaus and in the Buffet area the assistance of Souvik was really helpful and made our stay worthwhile.
