庫瑪拉孔傳統旅館(Kumarakom Heritage Resort)

A nice resort at a reasonable price. Very quiet surrounding in a village. Large wood laden room with all amenities. Limited Food options, particularly for a vegan like me, but enough to sustain. Also, a nice vegetarian restaurant nearby for a change. Bird sanctuary and museums are a tuktuk ride away. Village walks and temple visits in the neighborhood are quite pleasant. Priya and Ananthu at the front desk are very warm, soft-spoken and extremely helpful in anything you need. Krishna the care-taker and Prince at the kitchen are kind and highly responsive Overall, a memorable stay !

My stay at the resort was superb. The location is a perfect spot for enjoying the beautiful nature of Kerala and the backwaters away from the crowd. The staff is very polite, always making sure I was comfortable. They also cook very tasty authentic food.

I stayed here for few days. Overall value for money. They’ve spa and pool and Kerala style boutique rooms with all amenities. A lot of animals and staff was really really warm welcoming and nice. Definitely one of the best resorts in Kumarakom

Absolutely beautiful! The service and facilities are like no other. Lovely pool, amazing spa and some wandering horses. The boat trip in the backwaters was incredible! We were also very lucky to meet the owner of this resort who was the highlight of our stay in Kerala, a lovely ***. Only wish I could of stayed longer!

I had a really good time in the resort, there are ***y activities to do and the owner (Ranjeev) is really caring and have a lot of experience in the community. The horses are beautiful and little by little they start having confidence with you. Highly recommended!

I came with my partner. We enjoyed a lot. Happy with the service. Food was very tasty. Special thanks for reception and restaurant. It was very rainy days, kitchen team prepared very tasty and hot food for us.

Hello people here Amala from Chennai stayed with Heritage Kumarakom resort .such a classical ans beautiful place I ever visited in India very clean and nice rooms.very clean swimming pool and the 250 years old Kerala architect amazing I for the best holidays in heritage Kumarakom .

One of the best properties in kumarakom. Such Beautiful property, with full of greenery, a place to unwind and relax with top notch services. Swimming, speed boating, horse riding, cycling, you name it they have it all.

My wife and I, both senior citizens, spent three nights at this hotel. It's away from the city centre, but not overlooking any lake, canal or backwater. It's just a hotel by the roadside - something that we did not bargain for. Nowhere locally to go on foot. Fully made of wood, the accommodation is literally huge, the rooms spacious and impressive. The hotel was absolutely empty when we visited. To the extent that we had to pre-order what we wanted to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner - so that they could cook it for us. We were the only diners! Not comfortable at all. Even then, we were served rancid, rotten dishes - possibly stored in their fridge for a couple of days or more. Since the food was bad, we got fed up and asked only for boiled rice, boiled eggs, boiled potatoes and curd. Even then they forgot to serve the potatoes; when reminded we received rock-solid potatoes. Staff was courteous. Simple advice, avoid this place if you can.
