We checked in on15.06.25 and will checkout on 18.06.2025. We booked two most expensive rooms available i.e. Luxury rooms. On our day of arrival it was raining when we reached. There was one guy sitting on the front desk I waved at him several times he saw me everytime but kept standing at his desk and me alongwith my old parents, wife and one year child kept drenching in rain while taking out our luggage from the car . Maximum speed is 6-7mbps in the most expensive rooms of this hotel. The mattress in the most expensive rooms is worn out as it's a mattress of about 6 inches height, but it bends from centre and falls out to be 4 inches in height when u lie down, which might give you a severe backache and in our three nights stay we never woke up fresh in the morning. Furniture in the room is also worn out with all the paint and polish peeling off to dirty your clothes. Cushions are stained. However linen and pillows seemed to be clean. Carpets,Windows and curtains were very dusty seems to be not cleaned for quite sometime. Infact whenever we moved the curtains off the windows, minute particles of dust could be seen flying in the air inside the room, in sunshine. As I slept on the bedside close to the window and curtain every morning I woke up I had blocked nose. Floor was not clean when we arrived on day one. When we walked barefoot our feet became black with dust, although we waited about 30 minutes for the room which we told was getting cleaned. There were plastic wrappers and dust in the carpet of the room cleaned as per them. Television is a smart tv but has no proper internet to make it work. Toilet seat is very small and placed in a very small about 3 feet compact location between 2 columns. There are lots of Flys in the room . We asked for mosquito racquet, at first the staff said he couldn't find it. Later when we insisted he brought it. Every evening me and my wife used to spend about thirty minutes searching and trying to kill the flys so that our one year child could sleep without being disturbed by zzzzz sound of Flys. We used to share the same racquet with our parents as we were told there is only one racquet in the entire hotel. SafetyMOST SCARY INCIDENT. There are frequent power cuts. I think they had power backup which they use only when required Lift is very small and it is not connected to power backup. My parents got stuck in small size lift as the power got cut while they were inside. Lift was claustrophobic and my old parents remained trapped in the lift for about 15 minutes. The hotel is situated in a small village Burwa, it is near storii by itc, location is good as it’s close to Solang valley and Attal tunnel . The way to the hotel was jam packed due to tourist season From the moment we check-in we felt a little bit odd and something was off, please consider the detailed summary below: 1. Not a very welcoming staff and no hospitality whatsoever 2. The rooms were not clean even the linen was dirty. I have added pictures for the Bedsheets and curtains it was like never washed ever 3. The hotel is in low connectivity area with an extremely poor Wi-Fi so basic amenities like TV won’t work without Wi-Fi 4. For the month of June it was literally hot for us and to my surprise there was no ventilation and no ceiling fan. A small dirty table fan was provided on request. The rooms don’t have windows that could open or a balcony 5. We ordered lunch to start with it was all burnt and tasted stale. We booked stay with meals and to our worry we were dreading the dinner buffet 6. Upon asking for cleaning the room there was no difference at all 7. To top it all we woke up to a morning with no water in the hotel at all 8. adding to their unprofessional ways they just didn’t communicate us what time water will be available they kept saying next hour and it was almost night Finally we had to leave the hotel in the night hour after all this Whatever money is lost is lost but the experience for Manali is also not good for us My recommendation please don’t fall for reviews on MMT, they are not true I would never recommend this property to a family

The hotel is located in a very pristine area though around 4-5 kms ahead of Manali but had the advantage of visiting Atal tunnel and Rohtang without getting stuck in traffic as there was a separate road directly leading to palchan area. the hotel is located directly opposite to an apple orchard, with enough parking space within the hotel premises. We had two different road options to reach mall road, one from the old manali side and other from the Rohtang road side. The hotel is having only two floors but thoughtfully a lift had been installed for the guests. For recreation there is a pool table and carrom available in the hotel and most surprisingly guests are not charged even for using the pool table which is quite rare. The food served was good and always tasted fresh. The room and washrooms attached are of standard size having all the amenities as are usually expected from a Hotel vis a vis the amount being charged. There were frequent power cuts in Manali during the days we stayed there but each and every time within few seconds power back up – genset was switched on so we didn’t have to face any issue with it. The view from the rooms is splendid, no words, the moment we drew the curtains, we use to witness snow-capped peaks even in month of June. There is small market in the vicinity of the Hotel, hardly 100-120 steps away having a chemist shop and 3-4 grocery stores and a wine store. The staff was extremely cooperative and went out of their way to arrange a special seating setup for us in the green belt adjoining the hotel, located 30–40 steps below the parking area. They even served us snacks there, ensuring a delightful and personalized experience. The morning breakfast was standard menu – fresh fruits, eggs to order, corn flakes, idli/uttapam on alternate days, puri bhaji/cholley bhature, porridge/oats, paranthas, tea/coffee, etc. The dinner was also standard menu with soup, salads, one non-veg main course, dal, paneer, one other veg item, rice, breads and a desert. Overall the food was good with balanced spices, never had any issue of acidity, etc. The best part was the “TROUT” served with butter and lemon sauce. In my opinion its best value for money option one can get in Manali. In April I stayed in a five star hotel in Manali only and paid around 4 times more than what I paid here but now I feel the experience was not worth the price paid for it. Will highly recommend and surely visit again.

Great view from the rooms and good quality of food with nice hospitality. We have a family trip @katoch grand for three days. My experience at this place was great and we will love to visit again.overall experience was excellent in terms of comfort.

Don't go by star ratings and all! Gem property in Manali! Needs some maintenance but is undoubtedly very well-built and the rooms are well-appointed! Clean and hygienic! Mind-boggling views due to its beautiful location! And, Warm Hospitality - very rarely seen nowadays at star-rated hotels in India, is prevalent here - a big 👏 for the hoteliers there!!

The hotel has amazing location from the chaos of the manali city. Peaceful area surrounded by apply trees with some breathtaking views. Food was nice and hospitality is also warm by the employees of the hotel. Highly recommended for staying in manali.
