Very downtown position, 5 mins walking to the squares. Good decoration in the room, rich breakfast

Zrobilam 2 dniowy wypad do Krakowa. Koleżanka poleciła mi hotel na starym mieście blisko dworca a zarazem centrum, gdzie chcialam zwiedzac. Hotel Garamond to śliczny, przytulny hotel mieszcący sie w jak sie okazalo zabytkowej kamienicy. To co mnie urzekło od wejscia to szerokie uśmiechy obsługi. Po paru godzinach wypoczynku zapytałam o możliwość rezerwacji stolika w restauracji - okazało się w związku z licznymi rezerwacjami, pierwszy dostępny stolik jest na 21 ale miła Pani w recepcji zapewnila mnie, że warto czekać i pokazała menu. No nie myliła się. Zjedlismy pyszna zupe z raków oraz pierogi w sosie z truflami. Ja zamówiłam do kolacji Amaretto sour a mąż lokalne piwo. Drink o dziwo przyszedl podany na malym talerzyku, z podanym popocornem a udekorowany opalaną słodką pianką - cudo ! Polecam i zachęcam - jeśli ktoś chce miłej i atencyjnej opieki za niewielkie pieniądze to powinien defintywnie tu przyjechać.

Wir waren ohne Auto in Krakau. Ab dem Hotel sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten entspannt zu Fuß oder mit der Tram erreichbar. Ganz einfach ist das Einbahnstraßensystem in Krakau nicht. Wer unbedingt möchte findet aber um das Hotel auch Parkplätze. Die sind generell in Krakau aber Mangelware. Das Hotelpersonal spricht hervorragendes Englisch und ist immer hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Alles top 👌

Come da titolo. Veramente in posizione molto buona all’interno della città vecchia. Edificio esternamente super anonimo ( ho pubblicato le foto per il pubblico perché giustamente nessun pubblicizza questo fattore ) mentre all’interno è stata eseguita recentemente una ristrutturazione totale. Reception minuscola. Non esiste lobby , palestra, spa o altri servizi. In effetti l’edificio è composto solo da camere da letto + una piccola stanza senza finestre nel seminterrato che funge da zona colazione , ristorante e bar. Camere e zone comuni valide come arredi. Stanze di piccole dimensioni ma con buone dotazioni. Buono tv e Wi-Fi. Bagno ok ma asciugamani piccoli. Plus : posizione , interni ed arredi nuovi. Minus : buona parte del personale non comprende bene l’inglese, colazione deludente. Climatizzazione non facilmente regolabile. Rapporto qualità prezzo non eccellente rispetto ad altre location in città. Trovato alcune borse aperte ma fortunatamente senza brutte sorprese. Vale un passaggio non il secondo.

The hotel is located in the old town part and is a 10-min walk from the station which makes it accessible to most of the attractions. It is quite a new hotel and stylish, so you can expect that everything is going to be new and super clean. Before arrival, I tried to check in online but supposedly the hotel has disabled this feature so you pay traditionally at the front desk. After the check-in at the front desk, my reservation disappeared from my app and I could not see it any longer on it. Therefore, I had to tell the receptionist to fix it. Upon arrival, the receptionist was friendly and helpful and tried to explain to us the necessary information for our stay. Although she was a little bit rushed in speaking which sometimes would make it difficult to understand. The hotel is quiet, barely hearing a noise from the corridor or outside, probably because there were not so many guests. For the Internet, you can access two Wifis, Guests and Public, the speed of both are max 10Mbps, enough to just browse the Internet. The room is equipped with an iron, Nespresso machine, a kettle, and a small fridge. In the shower, you can find body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. In our room the body wash bottle was empty. I had read some reviews before and I was concerned about the AC which I tested upon arrival and it worked great. But supposedly it was too soon to judge, it automatically turned off during the night and made a lot of noise even if it was on the lowest mode. There are two very strange motion detectors in the room after the entrance and in the bathroom. I didn’t understand what they were for but they would make annoying clicking noises all the time especially when you are in the bathroom. The curtains are covering most of the light and barely any light gets in which is great when you are sleeping. The bed is firm enough. The blanket for the bed was too warm which I suppose is for the winter. The pillows are a little bit too high and firm. It tried to ask the reception about other options, unsurprisingly they did not have other options more than what was already in the room. Later on, I asked the reception if I can get a late checkout (which is a common free-of-charge service and most of the time is granted based on the availability) but I got rejected and was told that I don’t know how it works. The breakfast consists of a small high-quality buffet and drinks. Guests can also choose a warm option on the breakfast menu. Overall the hotel is stylish and new but it seems that they have a long way to adjust their services and looking for some details. All these small matters wouldn’t matter if they were not charging you extremely high compared to other hotels. For this price, you would expect a perfect service but the hotel does not fulfill your expectations. There would be definitely better options with such a price to stay.

Small upscale hotel in Marriott chain. Rooms were small, but adequate. Good bedding and linens. Very good breakfast at reasonable cost. Only issue was air conditioning. They continuously turned it off at the front desk. About every 2 hours, 24 hours a day they would turn it off remotely. In 4 days, we must have called them 20 times to turn the a/c back on. Frustrating.

Kaunis pieni hotelli rauhallisella paikalla kauniin puiston tuntumassa mutta kuitenkin kävelymatkan päässä nähtävyyksistä ja ruokapaikoista. Palvelu ystävällistä, vesipullon sai aina matkaan. Laadukas iso sänky, parivuoteen peitto oli pienen yksiön kokoinen joten riitti molemmille. Aamupala monipuolinen mutta vähemmän piperrystä olisi riittänyt ja enemmän panostusta lämpimään ruokaan. Päivällinen ei ollut kovin maistuvaa ja jäi yhteen kertaan. Yksityinen kyyti hotellista tilattuna lentokentälle oli erittäin miellyttävä kokemus, rauhallinen kuski ajoi ihanaa maisemareittiä.
