Very basic hotel, we had a twin room for myself & my 12 year old son. The room was quite small, only 4 usable sockets in the room but once you've plugged your adapters in you're left with only 2 usable sockets. I took to plugging the kettle in in the bathroom if we needed to use both sockets (tea & coffee facilities are not provided as standard). The shower is tiny, with the controls right in the middle of the wall (not at the back which would've left more space) so everytime you moved you knocked the handle and either got burnt or frozen. The restaurant ONLY serves breakfast, not evening meals or a sandwich if you arrive late at night as we did. There are no local shops to buy anything to eat. We went for a wander and found the Esso garage which has a mini cafe. The walls are very thin so we were woken up at 5am every morning by the people in the room next to us who did not have any "indoor" voices, the tvs are on the adjoining wall behind your headboard so you can hear that too. Staff were lovely, breakfast was nice. Good enough if you're just going to use it as a base for day trips but make sure you buy food on the way back. I downloaded the BOLT FOOD app and ordered a takeaway on our last night, reception got us some plates and cutlery from the kitchen.
