I recently booked a hotel for a weekend getaway, and i had a fantastic experience. I settled on a beautiful hotel that caught my attention with its stunning photos and positive guest reviews. The confirmation email arrived promptly, detailing my booking, check-in/out times, and cancellation policy, which was reassuring. Upon arrival, the check-in process was seamless, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness, comfortable bedding, and modern amenities. The hotel offered a great location, allowing easy access to local attractions, dining, and entertainment. Overall, my hotel booking experience was smooth and enjoyable, leading to a delightful stay. I highly recommend researching options, reading reviews, and taking advantage of promotional deals to make the most of your travel experience!

The Taj Gateway Calicut property clearly shows its age and is in urgent need of renovation. From the front gate to the grounds, the entrance, and the lobby, the infrastructure appears neglected, with visible signs of wear and tear. While the staff was courteous and the service commendable, the physical condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Maintenance seems to have been overlooked entirely. During our stay, we hosted guests and opted for the buffet at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The spread was unremarkable, and none of the dishes stood out in quality. The chicken, in particular, was tough and tasted stale, lacking the freshness and aroma one expects at a Taj property. The pool also appeared outdated and uninspiring. Overall, the property requires significant refurbishment to meet the standards associated with the ‘Taj’ brand. Without this, it may be time to reconsider its association with such a prestigious name.

We had booked 4 rooms here for one night. The hotel is not easily identifiable what with it being next to crowded shops attached to either side. No parking space. Our vehicle was parked in the next lane. Rooms were average, beaten down furniture not polished for years together. The curtains looked as if they haven't been washed or replaced from the time the hotel was established. The lift is accessible only from the 1st floor, so senior citizens or people with health issues would definitely have a difficult time. No view to talk about, better don't try looking out of the window. Advantages, its is in the centre of the town, so if you are visiting for sight seeing, most of the beaches and fort is close by. Good restaurant next door who delivers room service and good food. I would recommend this only if you are not going to be in the room whole day except for night sleep and the proximity to various landmarks in the city.

我最近出差住在加州的翠酒店。雖然酒店有一些積極的方面,但有一些事情不太符合我的期望。從好的翠酒店開始提供寬敞的房間,我對此表示讚賞。給我的房間挺大,很舒服,對於我支付的價格來說,還是很超值的。不過有幾個缺點,酒店與預訂時看到的圖片不太匹配,有點失望。清潔度也達不到標準,維護當然可以改善。雖然考慮到價格範圍是可以理解的,但我相信這些領域仍有改進的餘地。總的來說,如果您正在尋找預算友好的住宿,並且可以忽略一些清潔和維護問題,Emerald Hotel是一個不錯的選擇。

I am writing down my real experience with the hotel service. Today I had a worst experience with the accommodation in this hotel. I already enquired and booked the superior room rated 3600/-and I was checked into the hotel by 12-8-2023 evening 3:30 pm. Dipin KC (+91 73564 16333) was whom assisted me during the check in time. The service of the staffs of the hotel to the customers is very poor. After check in ,I went for lunch at Gazania Mezbaan Restaurant and waited for more than 1 hour for getting my ordered food. After that I went to room for taking test and at that time I couldn’t make my rest because of the high volume songs since the DJ party was going on at the hall and also there were people who were drunk. I complained to the reception staff but no response and also no actions were taken from their side.And they behaved a wrong manner. I decided to check out from the hotel because of the bad experience and service I had whom didn’t give any value to the customers. I called Dipin(+91 73564 16333) who said he is the manager but he also responders in a good manner and I didn’t get a solution for my problem. I checked out from the hotel by 8:30 pm and they were refunded only 600/- which I paid 3600/- at the time of check in.when i enquired about the charge to the receptionist named Shibin ,he told that it’s the charge .They were charged 3000/- for just five hours and was check out from the hotel due to the issue from their side itself. This was a worst experience for me and they didn’t value their customers. Not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please go through my comment if you are looking for room in this hotel.

We had went for our wedding anniversary and they gave candle light dinner and cake as complimentary.The dinner will have soups,Starters,Main course and dessert. The Experience is exceptional.we recommend for couples.Go for package which include dinner.
