Rena Studios

Van 31/08 tot 12/09 verbleven bij Rena Studios in Lambi, Kos. De appartementen zijn gedateerd, maar van alle basics voorzien. Verwacht geen luxe. Er wordt elke dag schoongemaakt en je krijgt elke dag schone handdoeken. Het is mogelijk om airco te krijgen tegen bijbetaling van €7,- per dag (wel aan te raden ivm. de temperatuur). De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en willen je overal mee helpen. Je kunt eten en drinken bestellen bij de receptie. Het is ook mogelijk om er te dineren. Ze hebben geen vaste kaart voor het diner. Alles is mogelijk. Dit moet je dan wel voor 11.00u in de ochtend doorgeven. Het eten is het heerlijk, echt een aanrader. Het zwembad is schoon en goed onderhouden. Er zijn voldoende ligbedjes beschikbaar. Het strand en de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt zijn op loopafstand. Als je naar Kos-Stad wilt is een fiets wel aan te raden (+/- 25 minuten lopen). Wij hebben ons hele verblijf fietsen gehuurd bij Moto Fessaras op Lambi. Bij hetzelfde bedrijf hebben we ook 1 dag een buggy gehuurd en 1 dag een scooter. Ze hebben een haal- een brengservice bij Rena Studios. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad en we hebben al geboekt voor volgend jaar!

Voor de eerste keer in Rena studio’s en zeker niet de laatste! Kamer zeer ruim voor met ze 2e , verwacht geen ultra super luxe maar daar is ook de prijs naar natuurlijk. Dimitris is een zeer goede kok je kan ook bij het appartement heerlijk eten als je het voor 11:00 ‘s ochtends door geeft , de producten worden dan vers gehaald. Kosmas is een zeer lieve man die heel de dag voor iedereen klaar staat met Dimitris samen . Ze zijn al van ‘s ochtends vroeg bezig tot ‘s avonds laat bezig om alles zo goed mogelijk te doen voor hun gasten. Ik ga als ik terug ben gelijk weer boeken voor volgend jaar kan niet wachten:)

What an amazing place to spend a quiet week. Perfect location if you want to be a little bit away from business but close enough to get to it. The pool area is an open sun trap with a great pool. The owners are sooo friendly and will do anything for you. The apartments are just what you need, clean, spacious and ours had a lovely outdoor terrace. The layout of the apartments is like a little village so not overlooked and a 2 minute walk to the pool. Location is perfect, 1 min to the beach, 30 minute walk to kos town. A week of absolute bliss!! 💙

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel Do no look at google maps for pictures, they are from dec 2011 and do not paint the real picture of what this studio is like as lots of new hotels have been built around the area., its stunning, sunny pool allday, always have a sunbed everyday. And the owners two brothers are the perfect hosts, and the food they do is very good. Ill miss my usual mythos and gyros at 1pm. I went with just me and my daughter, yes the rooms are basic, but what do you need a room for on holiday other than to sleep and shower in, its 7 euros a day for the air conditioning, but its well worth paying as its very hot. The walk to kos town is do able in 25mins, but there Is a bus the number 2 that takes you there, never on time, but only 1.50euros each to get to kos town, lambi beach is literally a 15mins walk away and on the walk there is a great supermarket and some great tavernas which do some nice food, found a gem of a restaurant called meltemia which is across from the closest beach to rena. And has a supermarket next door. All in all, if you go expecting the ritz as a room, you will be disappointed, if you go knowing what you are going to get you will have such a fantastic time and the pool is spotless, and the owners knowledge of the area is astounding, you can hire pedal bikes through them. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at rena, and my daughter wants to go back again mainly because it was like having a villa we had that much of the pool to ourselves, yet the place was fully booked. If you are having second thoughts, don’t. just book it.

Worst place I've ever stayed. We stayed one night out of the 7, left as early in the morning as possible. I know you get what you pay for but this was disgusting, have a bit of respect for yourself and book elsewhere. We went to the bar to get WiFi to search for another hotel and actually saw another holidaymaker smiling, I can only assume he was drunk as nothing in this place can make you smile. The beds were rock solid old mattresses, curtains didn't fit the doors properly, €7 a night for noisy air conditioning , facilities in the room were so basic, staying in a tent would be better! This place is like a squat house. Would never contemplate staying here, even as a last resort.

Very basic and extremely relaxing holiday accommodation. We booked last minute for an end of season break. No stress, Cosmos and his brother are extremely helpful and accommodating for all guests. The cleaning lady is wonderful and so friendly! My son has autism and can sometimes be quite difficult but everyone there made him feel welcome and were understanding. We usually have to go to quieter places at quieter times of the season and as a family we have loved the whole visit. Rena Studios is how I remember my trips to Greece - family ran welcoming businesses rather than a face-less posh hotel. This is how real Greece is! Thankyou Cosmos :)
