I really don’t understand why the reviews for this place are so good. It is SO LOUD all the time! Not relaxing at all. The beach would be lovely if the water wasn’t crowded with a fleet of diesel water taxi boats all the time that sound like Volkswagens with no muffler. Just running all day. And the beachfront restaurant would be nice if not for the boats and the screaming children running around and wailing babies everywhere. Like being in a daycare center. It was wild. Our room was no better. Surrounded by dirt paths and with walls like wood mini blinds, you hear all the motos and Tuk Tuk’s blasting by at all hours, families walking by yelling with kids and babies wailing away, like they were in the room with you. Sit on your nice private veranda and everyone down there on the paths is literally staring up at you like you’re television. No privacy or relaxation anywhere here. Biting bugs massacred us in our sleep, despite the mosquito net. The veranda doors have no screens, but try closing them to sleep and you’ll feel like one of those wailing babies forgotten in a hot car. The one awesome thing about the permeable walls was that I had a cute frog buddy in the shower!! He enjoyed the cold water (there is no hot water) more than I did, and that did make it worthwhile. The servers were nice in the restaurant, the food was fine, the guys in the equipment rental section were wonderful. We enjoyed renting a kayak and also going snorkeling. The young European woman who checked us in tho was so off-putting. She really treated us like she was annoyed we were there and had better things she needed to rush off to. Thankfully she seemed only to be working check in. I was so confused when we arrived, because the vibe of the place is just not what I expected from the website or the reviews. The only buzz word I’d agree with them on is “rustic”. I literally checked my emails thinking we must be in the wrong place. Chic? No. Relaxing? No.

環境：環境不錯，但是酒店的沙灘不好，非常多的珊瑚，很紮腳，第一天腳就劃破了 但是泳池房挺出片 衞生：衞士房間裏可以，露天泳池避免不了很多螞蟻 ，在泳池旁吃飯也有很多蒼蠅 這酒店感覺住的人很少，音響都積灰了 服務：當時定的結婚紀念日，確實也給佈置了，但是這麼貴的酒店，放在床上佈置的帽子竟然不是送的，沙灘包也需要購買，再退房時確實心裏不舒服，酒水零食吧也是收費的，這個價位這麼小氣的酒店，確實不多見 但是酒店有自己的APP 所有活動，有需求都可以提 房間雖然是獨棟 但是相隔很近，晚上在泳池玩鬧就會影響到其他房間的人，不讓你玩，這也是非常掃興的，總體來説性價比不高吧，就是拍拍照片

We loved the traditional simple eco friendly style, the staff are all very lovey and great at their job. Everything is available for you to have a great time, they are very knowledgeable and only want you to have the best time! We loved the relaxed vibe and the dogs and cats that happily played and visited us each day. Amazing to have free snorkel and fins to use as the reef is right in front of the hotel. The only thing we would advise is ear plugs, if you are an early to bed kind of person, as we are, Koh Lipe has become more lively so expect a bit of music at night, but nothing too crazy!

Stunning location sunrise beach with attached beachfront Benny's on the Beach restaurant (I have also reviewed this little gem!). The dive shop had a great vibe with instructors and a team who clearly know what they are doing. Comfortable rooms and FREE WATER! They provide Trash Hero Bottles for water refills during your stay to add to their Eco Ethos. 30 steps from my room to watch the sunrise every day. Quiet, clean and super comfortable beds. If you are looking to eat well, sleep well and dive on Koh Lipe, this is the place to stay!
