What a beautiful couple of days we had here..couldn’t fault anything…had the house lodge between 5 of us, so spacious with everything we needed…very relaxing place to stop as we traveled the garden route..close to Thesen Island with lovely views and places to eat…so glad we booked here

Beautiful view over looking the Knysna lagoon. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Abalone Lodge and enjoyed our time, particularly the beautiful view of the Knysna Heads. The location is peaceful, and the natural surroundings added to the experience. However, there were a few areas where our stay fell short of expectations. The unit, while charming, felt a bit smaller and more compact than anticipated. The space in the main bedroom was somewhat limited, and we found the lack of shelving in the cupboard to be inconvenient, especially for storing suitcases and other belongings. Some additional storage or shelving would improve the comfort and functionality of the room. Despite these minor issues, the overall atmosphere and scenic views made our stay enjoyable. With a few adjustments to the room setup, this could be an even better spot for a relaxing retreat in Knysna.
