Wij verbleven een week op 47 on Howard en hebben elke dag genoten. Prachtige grote kamer , lekker bed , koelkast , fijne douche , heerlijk balkon en superontbijtje elke dag. Wij komen al jaren op dit adres en blijven gewoon terugkomen. Jammer alleen dat er nog geen zonnepanelen geplaatst zijn zodat er tijdens de loadshedding geen wifi aanwezig is.

Nice place indeed. Breakfast was great. Very clean and tidy. Quite area. Close to all. We enjoyed there.

Lovely guest house. Chrissie was very friendly and accomodating. She even gave my daughter Chocolates for her birthday comfortable beds, good linen and good breakfast Decorations a bit old fashioned, but the rest was very good

Ow what a beauty, if you’re ever in Knysna, make it point to book at 47th on Howard. The place is sooo beautiful, Chrissie is the best host. We had a lovely time, thank you so much. The ladies that prepared our breakfast were so friendly. I could go on and on, please do drop by and see for yourself what an amazing place it is, not to mention safe.

Welcoming Receptionist with a smile, ladies in the kitchen serve us with a smile & nice breakfast. Very neat rooms. Howard lodge its a home far away from home. I can recomment the place to anyone. Love the lodge

Comfortable stay with chrissie and her staff looking after us. Nothing too much trouble. Clean pool. Large room with balcony to sit on. Plenty of parking. Air con in room. Comfortable beds and great breakfasts

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at 47th on Howard in December. It was a lovely venue with top class facilities, close to the golf course, Leisure Isle and Knysna Heads. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and crisp white linen and towels. A cooked breakfast with bacon and eggs was served every day (even omelette's). The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Chrissy was the most welcoming host too. We would recommend this lodge to everybody and will definitely return again one day. Luckily there was no load-shedding while we were there, which would have caused some concern as we were warned about leaving windows open in case baboons entered our rooms and therefore, we had to close our windows at night and leave the air-con on all night. Had there been load-shedding it would have been quite stuffy in the rooms with closed windows and no air-con available. If there had been burglar bars on the windows, the windows could be left open and save the lodge a lot in electricity expense. Another small suggestion would be to offer cereal and fruit on alternate mornings, as nice as it was to have bacon and eggs every day. Thank you Chrissy and staff for a memorable stay.
