The Tens' accommodation has been created in a former farmyard barn; this sits facing a still working barn which, during my visit, was occupied by a herd of cows. A walkway runs between these two barns which provides direct access to each individual bedroom and at the end of which is the breakfast room. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably well equipped, but mine was not serviced during my two night stay. Breakfast was entirely self-service, the cooked part consisting of a bacon bap in a silvered paper bag which had been left in a warming oven in the room at some earlier time. The bacon bap each day was rather dry with a not overly generous helping of bacon. and the coffee was definitely not something to be written home about. All in all, pretty average with a poor breakfast, but the reason for my "Slightly strange" heading to this review is the evident desire of the owners to have absolutely zero contact with their guests; the day I was arriving I received a message saying I should text the owners when I arrived in the car park, then, when I did, I received a message back saying the key to my room was in the lock. Thereafter for the whole of my stay I didn't see a single person associated with the hotel, and had no further contact with them until the day I left, when I received a text telling me to leave my key in the lock.

Wow! Amazing , we attended a wedding here , it’s so beautiful, so picturesque, staff are so lovely too. I had the best nights sleep ever here! Where do you get your mattresses ???? It is close to the airport so if you are a very light sleeper you might struggle , but they have very good sound proof so it’s not as bad. Everywhere was spotless . Bacon butties in morning were lovely . The baps tasted really fresh ! 5 stars I will give for Owen house
