Welcome to our quiet, private super clean 300 SF studio with 1000 Square feet of outdoor decking and manicured gardens. Follow the well lit 15steps (NO RAILING) leading you to a private gate and studio. The studio features, custom Teak furniture, a sleep number bed, large flat screen with Direct TV, Comcast internet, small kitchenette, beautiful custom Fireclay Tile throughout. Guests can enjoy meandering through the garden. The perfect little getaway nest. I do want all guest to be aware you must be AIGLE to navigate the 15 pavers stairs(without Railing) down to Studio. You should have a car the distance to the beach and restaurants is not far but our home is up a steep hill. Welcome to this two story home located right on Miramar Beach, steps away from the beach and with magnificent 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Pillar Point and the Princeton Harbor. The home is also steps away from the Miramar Beach Restaurant as well as being located on Mirada Road, which is part of the Coastside trail leading as far north as the harbor and all the way south into the charming town of Half Moon Bay. Detour onto HWY 1. Miramar Beach is a destination spot for travelers all over the bay area.Ideal renters are a large family or up to 6 adults and 2 additional children. Minimum age is 25 years old to rent. No pets and no smoking. The home is a beach front getaway with 2 levels and a reverse floor plan in which the living area, dining area and kitchen are located on the second floor with an upper level deck all with stunning views, and the bedrooms are on the ground or first floor. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. One is a master suite with its own entrance, bathroom, and walk-in closet. The two other bedrooms are located just down the hall with a separate floor-heated bathroom just across from them. There are brand new flat screen TVs with cable in the master bedroom, the bedroom at the far end of the hall (Yellow Room) and upstairs in the entertainment area. The middle bedroom (Bird Room) does not have a TV. All bedrooms have lots of storage including dressers and closets. A staircase from the bottom bedroom level leads up to a large open floor living space which includes a newly remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area and an entertainment area. Enjoy the spectacular views from anywhere upstairs. Additionally there are two smaller room/areas leading to the deck. One can be used as a nice cozy spot to sit and read, work on your computer (internet included) or just take in the view. The other room is an enclosed patio with a large wooden bar built in the 1950s and for kicking back with a drink in your bathing suit, weather permitting. Both of these room/areas have sliding glass doors to the deck that lead directly downstairs to the oceanfront road. The deck is a great place to catch some rays, whale watch or enjoy one of our stunning California coastal sunsets. There is plenty of parking and you also have one covered carport area for a vehicle as well. The home is located on the north side of a world renowned jazz club established in 1964, an Event Center. We do not rent the home when other events are occurring so rest assured that you will have privacy and quiet. There is also a cottage on the property where the caretaker resides. If you see a Sunday that is marked unavailable and you are interested in attending a music concert and including a Sunday night with your vacation, contact us to discuss options.We will consider Events such as small weddings but there is an additional fee for this and must be arranged by contacting the property manager. An event can be held in the home or in connection with the Event Center which is also at the Douglas Beach House. The Princeton Harbor is just a 5 minute drive north where you can walk the pier, shop, dine (Ketch Joanne, Barbara’s Fishtrap, and Mezza Luna (Zagat Rated), Half Moon Bay Brewery, Old Princeton Landing Public House & Grill, Breakwater Barbecue, Sam's Chowder House) kayak, surf, take charter fishing and whale watching trips and partake in local nightlife. There is walking/biking along the Coastside Trail that runs right in front of our home. The Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is a 10 minute drive north in Moss Beach. There is plenty of hiking including at Pillar Point where the famous Mavericks surf competition is held and Montara Mountain which has sweeping 360 degree views of the bay area and is about a 15 mile drive north....in addition to hiking the beach! The charming town of Half Moon Bay is just a 10 minute coastal drive south with unique shopping and dining (Pasta Moon, The Barn, Cantina at San Benito House, Dad's Luncheonette). There is golf at one of the two world famous Ocean Colony Golf Courses and a driving range at Ocean View Driving Range. As mentioned above, the home is attached to a jazz venue called the Bach Dancing & Dynamite which hosts world class jazz on Sundays. This home is just 30 minutes from San Francisco and the SF Airport. Therefore within minutes you can be in the world class restaurants, museums, shopping, Broadway shows, and music venues. The San Francisco Zoo is only 35 minutes away.One can also head South and be at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk in an hour or inland to Silicon Valley to visit the Tech Museum or 1.5 hours to Monterey and the famous Monterey Aquarium.
