Grabbing a drink at the Dutch Bros Coffee Co. across the street or making yourself a hot one in the kitchen is the best way to enjoy the views of passing barges and the goings-on of urban-industrial Uniontown Astoria. Pets, friends and family are welcome here, although we ask that furry friends are kept OFF the beds and couches, as it is difficult to de-hair the furnishings! We're excited to share our love of the ruggedly beautiful Oregon coast with you!The spaceOur home consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and laundry room. Although the house is quite warm and comfy when the heater is on, the floors do get cold in low temperatures. We recommend packing thick socks or slippers to get the most out of your rustic Astoria experience. We can accommodate two dogs, with dog bed and blankets provided. We can also accommodate up to 8 humans, although space would be limited and to be the most comfortable, we recommend staying here only with 6 or less guests in total.Please note that our proximity to the 101 means that noise from cars can be heard inside the unit!Guest accessThe kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room are all yours. Brand new boutique cottage nestled behind a historic 19th century property in the heart of Astoria's Uppertown District. Located just off the Riverwalk, enjoy beautiful sunset walks along Mill Pond and the waterfront. Designated parking at the Firehouse Museum and ample street parking. Take in all the natural beauty and adventure Astoria has to offer.This 288 sq. ft. studio is stylishly decorated and very comfortable with a queen size daybed, stocked kitchenette, smart TV, Wi-Fi and a floating wood countertop for dining, working or hanging out. It has a new mini split air conditioner with heat pump to keep you comfortable year round. The large bathroom has a brand new large tiled shower with a mural. The entrance draws you along a potted garden filled with bamboo, vines and ferns leading to a lovely shared covered deck area with seating and a fountain where you can unwind. The unit is through a gate and up a few stair steps from there with a cozy private deck, a café table and chairs.
