皇家海軍飯店(Royal Marine Hotel)

Wat een sfeervol en leuk hotel is dit met fantastisch uitzicht op het water, de veerpont van en naar Glasgow en de bergen. Goede kamers, heerlijk eten, heel gezellige bar en super lief en goed personeel, niets is hun teveel. Love it. Dank jullie wel voor de gastvrijheid en het heerlijke verblijf.

Charmant gebouw met uitzicht op het water. Wij hadden een gezellige kamer aan de voorkant, alles was prima in orde. Aardig personeel dat erg zijn best deed om alles te regelen. De muziekavond met Scott in de gezellige bar van het hotel was een hoogtepunt!

Na 2 kamers afgewezen te hebben vanwege vieze beschimmelde badkamers kamer van de chauffeur gekregen. Raam kapot , geen lamp boven wastafel, geen werkende ventilator. Zeer oudbollig hotel, echt aan renovatie toe. Domper op onze groepsreis, we moeten hier ook nog 3 nachten blijven

Lovely room, stayed in Arran Suite which was massive with lounge area and sea view. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. It's a beautiful building being lovingly restored.

Absolutely dreadful. We booked through ********** and got room 21 right at the top. Wall paper ripped, no towel rail but the broken splitered wood that had previously held it was still nailed to the wall, no toilet roll holder again parts of it still on the wall, my wife was nearly scorched with the intermittent electric shower. The door had big gaps round it justice the tiles on the bathroom floor. The worst thing is that the wood work on the front of the building is decayed and crumbling to a working condition. NO WONDER ITS PHOTOGRAPHED AT NIGHT. I don't know where these pictures and reports come from as our two friends got rooms similar to ours and they also complained. We had the charge for breakfast dropped due to our complaints. The place is crumbling to bits. BE WARNED STAY AWAY

A beautiful hotel with vintage quirks. Room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated to suit the style of the hotel. Could not fault the staff. They were super friendly, chatted to everyone, they all had a wonderful sense of humour and were extremely helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for something with charm and that vintage romance feel then definitely look into this hotel.

What a gem of a place! In days that we find it hard to get good service the Marine really has raised my hopes! Dylan and his team are nothing short of fantastic and what hosts! Nothing was too much trouble, fantastic rooms and service a real blast back to when you were made to feel valued and welcome! Thank you all for a great stay and be assured we will be back very soon.

Wasent to syre from reading old reviews. well wasent I surprised. The minute we walked the the door the gentleman beside the desk was hilarious and made us feel right at home. The rooms were stunning very modern and great views. The steak pie was lush and my wife enjoyed the sea bass. We hope to return back to dunoon and on return we will booked the royal marine hotel once again .

Room are lovely all Morden was nice surprise considering the age of the building. Breakfast was lovely a good full Scottish breakfast. Rooms are spotless and a nice touch with the extras in room thank again. Only a short 20 min walk into town such a lovely walk on a nice day Thank Dylan and staff
