We stayed for 8 nights at this resort and found it very unsatisfactory! Absolutely no frills whatsoever. We had a three bed unit on the second floor & it really needed a bit of love. The third bedroom was like a study with sliding doors to the living area. This room had two single beds with one pushed up against the wardrobe ( we had wanted another queen bed). Everything was very basic with no soap to wash hands & a couple of teabags & coffee sachets, no milk even for your first day. Unfortunately it rained almost the whole time we were there so we did spend a lot of time actually in the unit. The lounges were old & worn & cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The location was the only plus as it is right on the shops & cafes. Although we did find some days there was not much choice as lots were closed on certain days despite it being school holidays. Needless to say we would not recommend this resort nor consider staying again ourselves.

Family booked mamy units for wedding. Units have very varied layouts, furnishings and equipment. Some rooms very old, rusty, broken outdoor furniture. Some rooms unclean upon checkin. Location is great but facilities and mamagement not up to pricepoint!

We stayed in unit 342. This is a 3 bedroom apartment. Absolute disgrace. Nothing like the photos posted for the 3 bedroom apartments. Carpet is worn a dirty, coaches had rips on them, walls were dirty with marks holes, mattress protector had a stain on it, air conditioner leaks, upstairs balcony had a small metal table which had a wasp nest in it, the list goes on. This place is in desperate need of a renovation. Not sure what the other units are like but a big tip, don’t stay in unit 342.

A little bit tired and slightly unclean. Kitchen cupboard doors, sliding doors and fridge needed a wipe down. Cobwebs on windows, blankets rolled up in spare room cupboard which had probably been used and never washed or folded. Pool not heated, spa not working, tiles missing around the pool. Very dark rooms. However, amazingly good location, great price and friendly staff!!!

I stayed here in 2022 October long weekend, and paid a premium rate for a rooftop spa room. On the day of check-in, our check-in continually got delayed til approx 5pm, and then when we finally got in, the rooftop spa was out of order. Despite that, we booked to stay again on the 2023 October long weekend. The reservation was made in June, but then in late July I was contacted to say the room was no longer available, and I had been moved to a holiday home they managed nearby. I reluctantly accepted. Now today, late August, I've been contacted again to say the holiday home is no longer available, and they've moved me to an apartment in Casuarina - a whole different town, about 6km away. The whole purpose of staying here was the location being walking distance to a function I am attending - not to be moved to a different town. Don't bother if you want reliable accommodation. Location is great, but they show no respect for honouring reservations, and clearly have no influence over the individual unit owners.

Paradiso is conveniently located right across Cudgen Surf Club where we were competing last week. The oceanview rooftop spa room (337) was nicely decorated with the rooftop being the crown jewel of the place, the view at sunset in that spa is unreallll! The manager Odi, three words: What A Woman! She was more than accommodating to the changes I made coming up to our booking and was extremely helpful with all our requests during our stay. She essentially runs the place on her own, definitely due for a pay rise! Another positive for our group was that you could choose the number of access keys to each apartment which was really helpful as we sometimes came and left at different times.
