I stayed there twice in Mach, 2023 The location couldn't be better - with a fantastic view of Independence Square, within walking distance of all kinds of attractions. The breakfast is fantastic. The staff - the two ladies at the front desk, the ladies serving breakfast, and the security guards- are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered everything I needed. After staying there once with little idea in advance, I loved it so much that I chose it again when I returned to Kyiv for one day. When I arrived at night for my second stay, only the security guard was there. He speaks good English and took care of my check-in efficiently. I look forward to returning to it again. Hope I will be able to book a room for the victory parade that will take place sooner or later. On arrival the first thing you'll notice is how big the hotel is...it towers above Independence Square. The reception area is very large with a variety to the right and the reception desks to the left. Check in was simple as it was all pre booked. The only formalities was the city tax which was roughly £8pp. We had booked an Business Suite and it was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. It had a large double sofa bed in the lounge where there was a table and a set of doors to a very small balcony(if your brave enough) the second bedroom was large with another good size bed which had a decent sized office off of it. The bathroom was standard with the usual bath/shower sink and toilet. The bar was well priced and draught larger was around £1.20 We had breakfast included with our room but for me and the rest of our group it was pretty poor. Randomly and who knew, brocoli and cauliflower were breakfast items. Overall the hitel is well priced, right in the middle or not far away of all the things you would want to see. As I first time traveler to kiev it worked well.
