We started with a simple breakfast (either eggs with baguette or crepes with fruits and honey/chocolate). Then went to the kayaks. They gave us swimwests, drybags (which they closed themselves to be sure that they are waterproof) and helped us onto the kayaks. You should totally attach your drybag and other belongings to the kayak just in case (often the guides did this for us). We were a big group around 25ish people and had 4-5 guides with us on the kayak. You should know how to kayak and be aware that you are on a big river with currents, obstacles, just nature. We flipped over once because we got caught in a bad current (bad luck), and a guide came over very quickly to help us. We were also asked several times after that, if we are okay and we didn‘t loose anything because the guide had attached our drybag before. Lunch was a nice barbecue and sticky rice, I guess for vegetarians it was less nice. We finished with the sunset on the kayak and we got back when we still could see enough. also the guide told us we should go more to the left because of big currents at the right side in one part. So overall we had a nice experience with nice helpful staff. But have in mind you are still in nature, and flipping over, getting caught in current can happen.
