Mark ottimo ospite, ci ha fornito ogni forma di jnformazione utile, dai locali convenzionati o con migliore rapporto qualità prezzo, ai cennibstorici suglj abitanto dell'isola. Molto disponibile anche con noi che abbiamo accumulato notevole ritardo all'arrivo (causa traffico).

At more than $500 per night I didn't expect to entertain additional guests like the sheep sized roaches in the Hemingway Suite kitchen, madly waving their whip like antennae about in alarm at light, and lots of tiny ants on your pillow and bed in the Sunset Suite. Imagine going to bed and suddenly having the horrifying realization that some tiny creatures are crawling on your scalp and in your hair. Try sleeping after that living nightmare. The claim of a 10 minute walk to the main attraction areas is fantasy, since no one can walk over a mile in ten minutes. There is a beach only 4 blocks away. It was the only positive I can think of. The pools are in violation of Florida Department of Health codes since there are no handrails for the steps, the main drain in the Hemingway pool doesn't work, there was not enough water for the skimmer in the community pool, groundwater runs off into the pools since the ground is higher than the water. Both pools were filled with rocks, leaves and other unknown debris which runs off into the pools. The pool deck in the Hemingway Suite has multiple levels of different surfaces, with uneven, flexible plastic lumber that sticks up or bends down and may actually be hazardous. Gunk in supposedly clean dishes, no top sheet on one of the beds in the Hemingway Suite. The entire property is so overgrown with vegetation that you have to duck below sharp branches to get into the tiny community pool or find enough on street parking. There are no records of the required State Health commercial pool inspections on record and no idea if the pool is maintained by a Certified Pool Operator as required by law. The in room safe in the Hemingway Suite is in pieces. Anything anyone ever brought inside is still there, including newspapers, advertisements, brochures, old cans of soup, boxes of food, etc. Umbrellas, sunshades and recliners are dirty, some are stained, rotten and broken. The floor in the Sunset Suite living/dining area reminds you of a trampoline with cracked tile, plastic lumber that pops up and a disconcerting flexibility. The outside "deck" can't be used because the 2 tired, stained, cigarette burned, lizard feces covered chaise recliners take up the whole tiny deck. The luggage rack was broken. In the Sunset Suite, the coffee was individually placed into zip lock bags, perhaps left eons ago by some former guest. There is no onsite management. This is only the beginning of the horror show. If you want a cleaner stay with fewer insects closer to Duval street that won't cost you $500 + a night, find a dumpster. The owner asked me to give him a list of things to address and not to give his property a "bad" review. The four of us only stayed in 2 of the 5 suites over our four night sentence, and the property was built in 1933. I just thought it would have been maintained since then. The best thing that could happen to this property is a lit match accompanied by a slow fire truck.
