Disappointed is an understatement! The COST was OUTRAGEOUS due to the conditions and amenities!!! We paid for parking when we made our reservations. Upon check-in, we learned that there were FOUR on-site parking places! We were sent to a lot about 3 1/2 blocks away to park. The buildings are rundown. The shower was too large to wash my hair without hitting my elbows. The lighting in the bathroom was extremely dim and the bedroom lighting was not much better. There were not ample plugs for CPAP machines. The seating was outside on the deck, which was nice, but there was no seating inside the room except on the bed. The location did not feel safe even though it was close to Duval Street, where all the shops were. The blinds did not close all the way. The breakfast was mediocre at best. We will not return and will definitely not recommend to others.

Paradise or Pathetic? The Kimpton Lighthouse was a top choice for our Key West trip but after a 5 day stay we will NEVER be back. Upon arrival the first thing that jumped out to us was the sizable room and plenty of natural light. Unfortunately the bathroom is built in a broom closet. Straight ahead is a kid sized sink that blasts water on the floor if turned on too fast. Luckily, this aids in the necessary spin move needed to get comfortable on the crooked toilet seat.. Not ideal but it gets the job done. However, not as much can be said of the shower that gently trickles water on your head. We weren’t happy but made it work for the first few days; when we had towels that is. Over the last 2 days of our stay and with 3 trips to the front desk, we did not receive a single towel. They had all of them in the dryer. For 2 days! Every single towel in the place was in the dryer. On our final night we came back around midnight to a bag of towels only to be surprised with the water shut off to the building and a COCKROACH walking through our toiletries. The following morning (after sleeping with one eye open and not showering for 72 hours) we proceeded to checkout with a smiley women who didn’t ask a single question about our stay. Good riddance Kimpton Lighthouse!

The property was outdated and needed maintenance in many areas where wood needed replacing or repainting. There was a roof leak in the dining room that was adjacent to the pool and the beam it was dripping from looked rotten. The air conditioners were very loud and we could not sleep without using ear plugs when our AC was off but our neighbors AC was on. The property was no smoking but I witnessed several guest’s smoking on the property and an employee failed to ask them to stop after clearly observing their behavior. If you drive and need parking there is a remote lot 3 blocks away that you can pay $20 a day to use. There are several temporary spaces behind the hotel on Terry St. that can be used for checking in before you move your car to the remote lot.

For the price, the fridge, fan, AirConditioner didn’t work, very cold pool, very little sun light on the pool area. Staff attitude I feel they from the Swiss Army!! We would never stay their again.

Being charged $39 for a resort fee was outrageous. The pool was barely larger than a hot tub. Very disappointed.

It’s located in an ideal area of Key West with easy access to many fantastic tourist sites and restaurants. The rooms are cottages, both pleasant and private. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only pimple is something they have no control over: roaming roosters and chickens that are both noisy and messy despite robust cleaning efforts.

The property location is excellent. However, for the cost of staying, I would have liked to see the property in better condition both cleanliness and operational. In my room, the bathroom door did not close properly, it appeared that the side table light had been reattached, but was not straight & level on the wall. In other situations I would have been fine with all these things but for the cost. I would have expected more from the stay.
