This quaint and completely remodeled home is conveniently located 4 minutes from the entrance of The Florida Keys. It is only 45 minutes from Miami. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage, blends comfort, privacy, and classic Key's vibes. There is a lot of natural light coming into the living room. The back yard is large and very peaceful. It is nested with many different varieties of trees. This property is very private; because, it has no neighbors. This cottage has plenty of parking spaces, to facilitate all your water toys. If you forget to bring something, across the street, is a Dollar General Store. The cottage's location is convenient located to Restaurants, Shopping, Parks, and many great adventure. You can walk to the Florida Keys College and the Visitor Center, It is only a 5 minute walk. This Cottage is ideal for couples or a small family that is seeking a relaxing and adventurous getaway. This property has two doors at the front of the home; but, it is a single family home. PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS: 1. Sleeps up to 4 guests. 2. Two full bedrooms each with a private bathroom. 3. Island-inspired décor through out the Cottage. 4. Screened-in porch and patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. 5. A large backyard, with an outdoor BBQ grill area, tables and chairs, 2 loungers, Patio umbrellas and lush greenery surroundings. 6. A fully stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators (1/Lg and 1/med), stove, microwave, spices for cooking, many small kitchen appliances, bakeware and cookware, dishes, glasses, utensils, no dishwasher on premises due to kitchen size (antibacterial dish soap and hot water provided). Three paper towel rolls, are provided with each rental. Disposable plates and disposable cups are supplied. 7. Free high speed Wi-Fi internet is available, air conditioning throughout the residence, 5 ceiling fans and 2 smart TV with Netflix and Alexa system in the residence. 8. Four Beach Chairs and 4 Beach Towels are supplied. 9. Towels, Bed Linen, Shampoo, Conditioner, Gel, Liquid hand soap, two additional Toilet Paper Rolls are provide for each guest. 10. Stackable washer and dryer on premises. LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES: Located just minutes from the entrance of Key Largo. Located near: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and JD Outdoors Adventures (which has a Private Beach and Charter service), many restaurants and diving stores. The Key Largo Turtle Cottage places you at the heart of Key Largo’s best outdoor experiences. Explore vibrant coral reefs while snorkeling or diving with local dive boats, paddle through mangrove tunnels using kayaks and paddle boards, or set off on a local fishing charter, all just moments from your door. There is a nearby boat ramp at Caribbean Club. Long term renters welcomed. Please request a "Monthly Rental Agreement", and we will do promotional packages for one month or more. LOCAL FLAVOR: Sample fresh seafood at many favorites restaurants a short distance away. All these nearby eateries, is what that defines the island's relaxed, coastal culture. There is a "Resturant Guide" inside the property, to assist the guests with different choices. We have a "COFFEE STATION", which provides you with an American, Cuban and a French Press Coffee maker, along with an electric tea kettle. Coffee filters, tea bags, American and Cuban coffee is provided.There is a frother, cinnamon powder, assorted creamers and sugars provided for your enjoyment. We provide a "It is 5 O'clock Somewhere, BAR CABINET", providing all amenities needed, for your relaxation enjoyment of your favorite beverage. BEVERAGE NOT INCLUDED. It supplies a Champagne and Ice Bucket, Wine Cooler, Margarita glasses, Beer mugs and glasses, whiskey glasses, wine stems (plastic and glass), Champagne stems, Martini and Burbon Stem, Cocktail Shaker and strainer, cutting board, wine and beer openers and many more necessary supplies to operate a mini bar. NO PETS OR ANIMALS ALLOWED: We love our furry friends; but, many guests are severely allergies to dander; which, can cause an anaphylactic medical emergency. Dander is material shed from the body of animals with fur, hair or feathers. For the safety of all our guests and to prevent this serious medical condition, pets are not allowed anywhere on the property. IMPORTANT NOTES: Check-In: Is at 4:00 pm Check-Out: Is at 10:00 am /There is no refund for early Check-Out CHECK-IN PROCESS: Renter must provide a valid Governmental photo ID at the time of registration and the name on the ID just match the name on the registration form, submitted when the property was reserved. The responsible Renter must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. If there is a doubt on who the Renter is, a Governmental ID will be requested prior to Check-In. Renter and ALL Adult Guests need to read and sign the Rental Agreement. All Guests must be listed on the Rental Agreement If they are not listed on the Rental Agreement, they are not authorized to be on the property. Please not that all motorized vessels, vehicles, jet ski, etc must be listed on the Rental Agreement. A week before Check-In, the Renter will receive via email the Check-In Instructions. OCCUPANCY LIMIT: This Cottage has a maximum occupancy limit of 4 people, including the renter and the 3 Guests . SMOKING AND VAPING POICY: No Smoking or Vaping is allowed anywhere inside the property or screen patio. Smoking is allowed only in the outside yard, away from the doors so the smoke does not enter the residence. PAYMENT INFORMATION: ALL Payments shall be doe through the Vacation Rental jCompany approved by the owner or the Vacation Manager. PARTIES OR GROUPS: Onsite parties or groups events are strictly prohibited. PHOTO/FILMING: No commercials photograph or commercial video filming is permitted anywhere on the property. Private pictures and videos for personal use are permitted. TRIP INSURANCE: It is suggested that a "Trip Protection Insurance Policy" is purchased by the renter, due to any unforeseen cancelation or serious illness or emergency evacuation closure due to natural disaster or inclement weather. Hurricane Season is June 1st to November 1st. FACTS OF LIFE IN FLORIDA: The nature surrounding this beautiful property is stunning and very tranquil. There is a lot of natural beauty for everyone to enjoy. While we maintain a biweekly pest control service, inside and outside of the residence, guests may still encounter some bugs from time to time, especially after prolonged periods of rain. We encourage keeping windows and doors closed, AT ALL TIMES, to prevent the insect from entering the house. When not in use, it is suggested to turn off all exterior lights, as they tend to attract flying bugs. Mosquitos and No See Ups, are very common and part of living in all of Florida. During the rainy season, The City of Monroe County sprays for mosquitos frequently. You can go on their web site to monitor their spraying schedule. Please remember to bring bug spray.
