Lovely overnight stay while walking the Dales way. The house is decorated to a high standard and our room was very comfortable. Owners Jack and Cheryl were very helpful and welcoming. We strongly recommend Cleveliot House and would be very happy to stay again if we return to Starbotton.

This has got to be the friendliest and easy going village in the dales. We had a lovely weekend with our Labrador made all the better from the hospitality of Jack and Cheryl who could not do enough for us. Their home is beautiful and we were lucky to share it for the weekend.

Beautiful b&b in the village of Starbotton. Jack and Cheryl were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly. As soon as we arrived after a long journey we were made to feel at home. Lovely, well equipped and spacious room, lovely bathroom too. Breakfast was superb, couldn't fault it. All in all a lovely experience. Try the Fox and Hounds pub less than 50 metres away, superb food served here too.

Nice stay in Starbotton. Lovely B&B in a stunning location. A warm welcome from Jack and Cheryl. The walk from Starbotton to Arncliffe over the top has to be one of the best walks we have done in all our years walking the Yorkshire Dales. A definite revisit.

Awesome hosts so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful full breakfast. Lovely spacious room. Amazing garden if weather permits. Location in the dales is great base for touring around and seeing nearby sites. Would definitely stay here again. Well done guys. Your hard work pays off.

2 wonderful nights at Jack and Cheryl's. Hosts could not be more helpful and friendly. Not only are the bedrooms very good but the downstairs and outdoors living spaces for guests make it a truly very relaxing stay. Would go back tomorrow

We stayed for one night with our Cocker Spaniel on our journey home from Scotland to Surrey. Lovely house, great decor and facilities. Lovely hosts who were very friendly and helpful and we received a free bottle of wine on arrival. The Yorkshire Dales are stunning and the house is in a lovely little hamlet with a great local pub - food there was very good. Breakfast was good but would have loved the choice of muesli, natural yoghurt and water in the bedroom. Would definitely go back to stay there when we next visit North Yorkshire, only sorry we could not book a further night as they were full!
