First problem was I found absolutely no way to reach the property in advance of my stay. I repeatedly called the number provided by *******, listed on the Inn's website, and only got message that the person has a VM not yet set up! I left several messages but no call back. I had delayed flight and wanted to let them know I might be late, their website says check in 4-8 pm. I also had ******* call for me, same thing. I sent emails, the only reply was automated message that it might take a few days to hear back. My visit is over, I still have not heard back! I arrived just before 8 pm and informed the woman at the desk that she cannot be reached by the listed phone number, she shrugged and said she has the phone with her!!
She gave me a nicer room facing the back with lovely river view. The room appears renovated, though could be cleaner. The wall paper is textured and appears to be filled with dust. In the morning I was greeted by a roach. The TV is huge but with a tiny remote and no instructions. No volume button that I could see, I gave up. There are no tissues in the room, nothing, only the toilet paper in bathroom. The bed is good but very high. They should provide a step stool for shorter people. Overall, it is an OK place to stay, the area is gorgeous. But the property needs to step up their service and at the least have a phone that will be answered. Also, needs better cleaning.
