We stayed at Cavendish Lodge and Cottages in mid-August and will definitely stay there again! Location was perfect, walking distance to most amenities. Accommodations were clean and comfortable; my bed was super comfy. The cottage was well stocked with everything you need, from beach towels to tea bags. The hosts were friendly and so accommodating, they even let us interact with their kitty. The grounds were meticulous; the pool was a great size, had plenty of loungers and offered umbrellas for anyone who wanted shelter from the sun. Wifi was great, no issues. My family will definitely be making a return visit!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there! We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that was super clean and very well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable (although the owner told us he has new, even better mattresses arriving soon). There are two windows in the bedroom, making the room bright and airy. The living/dining area also has large windows and an air conditioning unit. The kitchen has a full sized fridge and stove and is well stocked with everything needed including a dishwashing sponge (new), dish soap, dish cloth, tea towel, paper towels, salt, pepper, coffee maker (and coffee), toaster, microwave. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and even some beach towels. On our deck, we had a bbq, picnic table with umbrella and a pair of Muskoka chairs. There is also a heated outdoor pool with plenty of loungers. On the property, there’s also a beach volleyball court, soccer nets, a basketball net, a sandbox, and playground equipment. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with my family (including an infant and toddler) for 4 days and we had an amazing time. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage and had more than enough space for all of us. Plus, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was really clean. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful, We had lots of questions and requests for our small children, and they did an excellent job making sure we were taken care of (new linen, baby crib, and even an iPad charging cable!). The resort also had a small playground, and a heated outdoor pool, which was great for the kids. There was also a small soccer and basketball play area that was pretty well maintained (balls were full of air, and nets were set up). The resort was a 2 min drive away from Cavendish beach, which is a really great spot for swimming and hiking, but make sure to bring some bug spray. Aside from that, there's lots of small amusement parks in the area if that's your thing. Overall, we had a great time staying at this resort and I would highly recommend this to anyone else travelling with a family in this area!
