Due to Mother Nature, currents, and seasonal changes there is a changing dynamic of the amount of beach at any given time. However, the beach is always in place, beginning just before MacArthur beach park, which is about 1/2 mile west. There are lifeguards, picnic shelters, and a shower located here. The location of this home, in the area known as Kekaha Sunset, is near the pristine dune backed Polihale Beach Park, the hiking trails of Kokee, the stunning scenery of the Waimea Canyon, and the shopping and restaurants in Waimea town.
