Wir wurden noch nie so umsorgt, wie in diesem Hotel. Vom Parkservice, über das "Wassermädchen" ☺ bis zum perfekten Zimmerservice. Zum Strand muss man einige Minuten fahren, bekommt aber auch hier den vollen Service mit bequemen Liegen in der ersten Reihe. Alle sind herzlich und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch, bevor man ihn aussprechen kann. Das Frühstück vermisse ich heute noch!!!!! Von uns gibt es hier für Herzlichkeit in der Delux Klasse nur die besten Bewertungen. Nochmals Danke an alle Mitarbeitenden an der Front und im Hintergrund. Ihr seid alle so bemüht und zuvorkommend!

On arrival we discovered that our balcony overlooked a construction project which continued work all day every day of our stay. The noise, the fumes, the dust and the total lack of privacy made our balcony unusable. Obviously this work is beyond the control of Canale but, given the impact, we believe that in good faith they should have warned us in advance so that we could at least consider our options. The internet connectivity was so poor that we joked that the hotel was jamming it to prevent us posting a review. It dropped the connection every few minutes so we set up a 5G hotspot and ran our devices off that. Fortunately, we have unlimited mobile data roaming but not all guests will be so fortunate. My wife, whose admittedly pre-existing respiratory condition was exacerbated by the dust and fumes from the construction, asked for help in locating a doctor. You know, that “concierge service” they advertise? Well, they sent her across town on a wild goose chase to a medical centre that was not and never had been open before 6pm in the afternoon. All of the above we bore with a good grace and nary a comment. At 7:40pm one evening my wife, not feeling well enough to go out to dinner, rang to order room service (available until 8pm according to the flyer in the room). Canale, despite knowing from the previous episode that she was unwell, told her that she was too late, that the simple items requested (dips and a cheese plate) were impossible and that she should go into town if she was hungry. Bullied into submission, she resigned herself to going to bed hungry. Then I got on the phone, my fund of goodwill totally exhausted. Five phone calls and a hour later the “impossible” items were delivered. Canale appeared to think that we should be grateful for this. To us, though, it simply demonstrated the arbitrary and unnecessary nature of the initial refusal. We checked out first thing the next morning never to return whilst current management remains. Two stars. One for the excellent quality and service of the breakfasts and one for extraordinary cleanliness of the room.

C’est un hôtel de ville qui nous a permis de prendre pied en Cephalonie et d’explorer Argopolis sa capitale. Un hôtel très moderne de haut de gamme où tous les détails sont conçus pour votre confort et votre plaisir. Nous étions plutôt dubitatifs sur le jacuzzi sur la terrasse, finalement nous nous baigné matin midi et soir! La marque de cet hôtel est la qualité de l’accueil et la gentillesse exceptionnelle du personnel dans toutes leurs fonctions. Nous avons apprécié tous les conseils pour visiter l’île mais aussi les sourires de chacun. Deux points encore. L’hôtel vous réserve un place sur une des plus belles plages de l’île. Le petit déjeuner très varié, très copieux, fait de produits locaux à prendre sur votre terrasse ou près de la piscine. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

Amazing boutique hotel where the service was outstanding and all the staff were so friendly and eager to help. The room with a jacuzzi on the balcony was stunning and finished to a very high standard. The breakfast was amazing, with many local delights freshly made. Advice of where to visit and eat was brilliant, time was spent telling you about the local area. The town square is a short walk, with many restaurants, bars and shopping. The beach (Costa-Costa) is a 10 min taxi, which the hotel books for you and gives you a number to call when you want collecting. You also get complimentary sun beds with parasol right on the sea. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The Canale Hotel is a very special place. We have just returned from a one week stay here and we have never before experienced such incredible service. This hotel deserves way more than its 4 star official rating. The minute you arrive you are greeted by the amazing staff and welcomed with a complimentary cocktail. The rooms are exquisite with a beautiful view. Fresh towels , incl beach towels everyday . The breakfast here is outstanding, huge choice of fruits, pastries and cakes. Also a full selection of hot choices, this kept us going throughout the day. Fabulous restaurants all walkable, again the staff are happy to give recommendations and book for you if required. The attention to detail here is what makes the Canale Hotel so special and we hope to return one day soon. Beautiful island, incredible hotel !!

This is a stunning hotel! The location is great to access the whole island. All of the staff were incredibly helpful. Anything we needed they helped us. The design of the hotel is amazing-sleek, modern yet comfortable. The breakfast was the best. Included with the reservation are two Sun beds and an umbrella at a fun beach bar-what a bonus. I cannot recommend this hotel enough
