A high-class hotel, very pampering and serviceable

We want to say a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Canale Suites we had the most incredible time, from the moment we arrived we felt like we were staying with friends and family. A very special mention to Costa, Petros and Christina they were superb their dedication and attention to detail kind and friendly attitude was like nothing we have experienced before. The room was beautiful with a stunning view, with a jacuzzi on the balcony it took our breath away WOW. We want to thank Costa for his recommendations his knowledge of the Island was second to none and especially the fish restaurant Vinaries where we had the most fabulous meal in a beautiful setting. Also a big thank you to Petros for all his help and top tips of the best beaches and hidden gems on the island. He helped us with renting a car so we could fully explore, when we had a problem on one of the days we just rang him on WhatsApp and sorted it for us, nothing was to much trouble.He also booked front row sun-beds on Costa Costa beach which are complementary for guests which is stunning. Then we come to Christina the beautiful young lady who brought us breakfast every morning. She was always smiling and was genuinely interested in our what we been up to and what we had planned for the day. She tempted us with all the amazing food that had been freshly prepared everything was exceptional and never ending. We cannot recommend this hotel enough every single member of staff were incredible so thank you for an epic holiday we will never forget, it totally exceeded our expectations. On arrival we discovered that our balcony overlooked a construction project which continued work all day every day of our stay. The noise, the fumes, the dust and the total lack of privacy made our balcony unusable. Obviously this work is beyond the control of Canale but, given the impact, we believe that in good faith they should have warned us in advance so that we could at least consider our options. The internet connectivity was so poor that we joked that the hotel was jamming it to prevent us posting a review. It dropped the connection every few minutes so we set up a 5G hotspot and ran our devices off that. Fortunately, we have unlimited mobile data roaming but not all guests will be so fortunate. My wife, whose admittedly pre-existing respiratory condition was exacerbated by the dust and fumes from the construction, asked for help in locating a doctor. You know, that “concierge service” they advertise? Well, they sent her across town on a wild goose chase to a medical centre that was not and never had been open before 6pm in the afternoon. All of the above we bore with a good grace and nary a comment. At 7:40pm one evening my wife, not feeling well enough to go out to dinner, rang to order room service (available until 8pm according to the flyer in the room). Canale, despite knowing from the previous episode that she was unwell, told her that she was too late, that the simple items requested (dips and a cheese plate) were impossible and that she should go into town if she was hungry. Bullied into submission, she resigned herself to going to bed hungry. Then I got on the phone, my fund of goodwill totally exhausted. Five phone calls and a hour later the “impossible” items were delivered. Canale appeared to think that we should be grateful for this. To us, though, it simply demonstrated the arbitrary and unnecessary nature of the initial refusal. We checked out first thing the next morning never to return whilst current management remains. Two stars. One for the excellent quality and service of the breakfasts and one for extraordinary cleanliness of the room.

Ons verblijf in hotel Canale Hotels & suites was top. We hadden goede reviews gelezen. We sluiten ons daar graag bij aan. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De gastvrijvrijheid was fantastisch. Een heel schone kamer, een geweldig ontbijt en de persoonlijke aandacht voor de gast maken de vakantie compleet. Bijzonder was het dat we op de dag van ons late vertrek een extra kamer kregen om te douchen etc. We komen zeker terug. Nogmaals onze grote dank! Our stay at hotel Canale Hotels & suites was great. We had read good reviews. We are happy to join that. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The hospitality was fantastic. A very clean room, a great breakfast and the personal attention for the guest make the holiday complete. It was special that on the day of our late departure we were given an extra room to shower etc. We will definitely be back. Once again our big thanks!

Amazing boutique hotel where the service was outstanding and all the staff were so friendly and eager to help. The room with a jacuzzi on the balcony was stunning and finished to a very high standard. The breakfast was amazing, with many local delights freshly made. Advice of where to visit and eat was brilliant, time was spent telling you about the local area. The town square is a short walk, with many restaurants, bars and shopping. The beach (Costa-Costa) is a 10 min taxi, which the hotel books for you and gives you a number to call when you want collecting. You also get complimentary sun beds with parasol right on the sea. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is an easy challenge ! Try to choose this hotel for your stay in Cefalonia and rate the hotel less than excellent!! Less than 5 !! It’s really impossible ! ! Everything is really perfect ! Boutique Hotel with an attitude of six stars hotel. Breakfast, kindness, cleaning, attitude to delight customers are only few of the strength of this place. Fantastic experience
