堪薩斯城皇冠中心威斯汀飯店(The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center)

I was upset when at check-in even though I had booked well in advance a room with a king sized bed they informed me none were available. Instead I was downgraded to a room with two double beds that were extremely uncomfortable. For the amount of money I spend for this room, there was no mention of a discounted rate, or anything offered to accommodate this inconvenience. The staffing and seating at the restaurant/bar were inadequate for the amount of people in the area. We were unable to find a seat at anytime during the stay.

When booking our stay, I didn't realize the convenience of this hotel. The location is awesome! There were so many mini shops and restaurants to choose from in the hotel. My husband and I checked in on Thursday the 19th of Ocrober 2023 about 3:30pm. The lady at the front desk was very nice! Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. Glenn, the concierge/bellman was awesome! He was very helpful and informative. He always greeted us with a smile. The hotel was clean and so was the room we stayed in. The view was amazing too! The reason for my 3 stars for staff was because after all the friendliness we received during our stay, the lady that checked us out on Monday the 23rd of Ocober 2023, at 4:30am was just the opposite. I didn’t get her name either but she was not nice. She didn’t greet is good morning. She didn't invite us back to the hotel. She didn't wish us a safe trip back home. I asked for a receipt and her exact words were, "you paid through a 3rd party so thats who will give you a receipt." No smile, no nothing.

The stay was fantastic!!! Very centrally located for shopping, and restaurants. Took the light rail to power and light district for a concert, and it was so easy!!! When we returned to the hotel late, we were still able to have a wonderful meal in the lobbies bar area. Room was quiet, comfortable, and clean!!!

Why is the bar closing before 11 pm on a Saturday night?? We watched at least 20 people walk in wanting to order drinks as we sat for last call at 10:50 pm!! Very disappointing.

Staff was amazing! Very convenient staycation. Loved the access to Crown Center for additional dining options. Pool and hot tub were fabulous! Loved the fitness center as well. Had breakfast at the restaurant on site and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location couldn’t have been better… Close to lots of shopping, restaurants and the ice-skating rink. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel connected to the Crown Center Mall, Its very busy at this time of year. but the Westin is big enough to handle it, all staff was very nice.

Awesome location and amenities. Enclosed walkway (The Link) to Union Station and KC Streetcar (free transit). Also walking distance to aquarium and shares access to indoor mall. We went to Lidia's (amazing) and it was also an easy walk.
