Het was prima toeven in dit appartement!! Drie hele aardige en vriendelijke broers runnen het geheel incl een aangelegen cocktailbar. Ook moeders Despina (tevens naamgeefster van het app.) loopt er nog een beetje rond. Kamers zijn wat oubollig en niet voorzien van een koffieautomaat, maar de bedden zijn goed. Kussen was te dun, maar een 2e kussen bijvragen was geen enkel probleem. Kamers worden om de 2 dagen gecleaned en handdoeken ververst door een alleraardigste schoonmaakster (geef ze een fooitje en ze doet alles voor je). Zwembad wordt goed bijgehouden en alles wordt update gehouden. Er kan van een kleine kaart gegeten worden. Links van het app. ligt een betrouwbaar autoverhuurbedrijf en rechts een supermarktje. Strand is op loopafstand, In de buurt diverse winkeltjes, excursieaanbieders en eetgelegenheden (tip Paradise!). Wij raden dit appartement zeker aan!!

We are staying at Despina Apartments for the first time since 2019. We love to come to this family run business. Our room is spacious and very very clean. The water pressure is really nice in the shower and we have a fantastic balcony. In 2021 I had two back surgeries, but the mattress in the room is really great, and I’ve woken each morning feeling great, better than at home to be honest. The apartments have a pool and cocktail bar. The pool is beautiful and a natural sun trap. We have visited a number of times in the past with and without a car. The times we have not had a car we have been more than happy to stay at the pool area for the whole holiday. Since we last visited the sun loungers have been upgraded to have really thick padding, I have been able to lay comfortably even with my health problems, which was a really nice surprise. The showers and toilets around the pool are extremely clean which is very important to us. The showers and toilets have been recently upgraded and are just lovely. The cocktail bar is also furnished really beautifully, and the family that run the place are always on hand to make your day as special as they can. They have a herb garden to furnish the cocktails and the attention to detail by the bar staff is what you would expect to see in a really really high end bar. But you are not paying high end prices. So you win twice when visiting. I would give the place 6 stars if I was allowed to! My wife and I have never had a bad experience while here. And we’re really grateful to everyone working hard to make this happen. The location is close to all the best dining in Gouves. And the apartments are a 2 minute walk to the beach. You can turn left and see all of Gouves. Or turn right and in 20 minutes down the beach be in Analipsi giving you really easy access to both resorts.

What a wonderful 2 weeks we had here. The 3 brothers were absolutely amazing and made us feel at home. Ria was fab with her great service in the evening/night. Our room was lovely, especially the bathroom, with its double shower. Can’t wait to return again next Yr

Been to Gouves many times but 1st time at Despina. From the moment we arrived we recieved the warmest welcome which carried on throughout our stay. The lads and their mother should win a hospitality award. Snack bar served lovely freshly made snacks and pool area is spotless clean with many comfy sunloungers ( no sunbed wars here ). Cocktail bar out the front serve amazing cocktails all made with care and is so comfy to sit and people watch 😊 overall I couldn’t recommend Despina highly enough and will 💯 be back. The family who run it are so amazing and charming ❤️

Everything about despina is nice , it's not just about the apartments, it's also about the warm welcome you get from the family ,the service you are given, and the whole experience, the pool is good to use ,it's not very large but it's still good to use and there are enough sun loungers too, and no towels on them in the day, if having a chilled day the bar is next to the pool and they do snacks and meals ,if beer isn't what you want there's coffee and tea too, also where despina Is situated there's a restaurant opposite, and if walking towards the beach you will pass by four of five more restaurants that open around 10am until 11/12pm, so a full English breakfast or a meal from fresh salads to big steaks and pastas are on the menus, all at great prices, despina is roughly a 7 minutes walk to the beach ,with more bar/restaurants another couple of minutes away, and a good size supermarket and bakery, if turning left out of despina there's shops and restaurant and a bit further a bakery selling all its own produce , it truly is a great area to stay, the 3 son's and mother make your stay how it should be ,

Could not fault my stay here in July from start to finish. A very warm welcome, lovely environment and the 3 brothers were brilliant hosts and extremely helpful. Would recommended to anyone; couples, families or solo travellers!
