Excellent friendly staff, reasonable prices, clean and spacy rooms. Deepqk and Babu took great care of us and any visitor we saw. They were also extremely helpful in organizing our plane tickets to Lukla, arranged transport from and to the airport free of charge and offered to hook us up with a guide service in the mountains.

Das Andes House liegt ruhig und gemütlich im geschäftigen Thamel Viertel. Geschäfte und Attraktionen sind fußläufig erreichbar, es gibt tausende Restaurants mit sehr gutem Essen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Räume und Badezimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Bei Fragen sind die Jungs, die das Andes House Betreiben immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Bei Bedarf organisieren sie Transport, Geldwechsel, Wäsche, Trekking Ausflüge… Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und entspannt, ich komme gerne wieder!

Apesar de estar numa boa localização, falta cuidados com a limpeza e a manutenção do prédio. Banheiros sujos, mofo nos quartos, lençois manchados. No quarto da minha colega sequer foi feita a troca de cama do hóspede anterior. Água quente limitada. Eles organizam os passeis, porém faltou mais transparência nas negociações, tentando nos enrolar e tirar vantagem o tempo todo, mudavam a fala toda hora. Essa parte foi a que mais me incomodou. O tal do "don't worry"pode ser sinal de enrolação. Certamente há opções melhores na Thamel. Reservei pela plataforma do booking, mas não consigo fazer a revew no próprio site por alguma razão "misteriosa". Se você não se importar com limpeza pode ir tranquilo.

The Hotel has improved a lot now. You won’t get an Air Conditioned room at this price in Thamel area. Breakfast was too good and beers available on purchase. Room service brilliant and airport pick and drop has made my journey very easy from airport. Thanks to Deepak for all services hotel provides.

After 5 years I returned to the Andes House and for me it was still as good as the first time I visited this place. Good rooms for an affordable price with breakfast included. Friendly and helpfull hosts, hot shower and good internet speed inside the rooms (ask which router you have to use). Located in a quiet neighborhood, but just move a few steps and you will be in Thamel. Recommended!

Great place to stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helpful. The free breakfast is good too. There is a great garden outside to hang out in or eat breakfast. No AC but fans in the rooms. Some rooms are a little old feeling but good price.
