14年第一次來尼泊爾旅遊就住在這家酒店，當時感覺好極了！時隔近10年，再次入住，發現酒店設施還是老舊了，但是看得出來維護的還不錯。希望能一直開下去，成為一個文化景點。

還要爬樓梯。🚪也很嚇人 太古老 我住了1 晚我就沒住了。 換地方了。真的不推薦。

J’ai passé deux nuits à une semaine d’intervalle dans ce petit hôtel au coeur de Thamel. Toute l’équipe de Bicky est vraiment très attentionnée et lui-même extrêmement arrangeant (j’ai pu garder la chambre toute la journée alors que je partais tard le soir, arriver très tôt, organisation de taxi, etc) Le jardin avec sa fontaine est particulièrement agréable pour se reposer de l’agitation de la ville. D’autant plus que l’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé. J’ai eu deux chambres différentes, la première très confortable (numero 103), la seconde (201) plus basique, un peu chère du coup pour le confort offert puisque les deux étaient au même prix. Mais toujours de l’eau très chaude pour la douche ! Très bon petit déjeuner (café, toasts, jus frais, oeufs). J’ai eu l’occasion de manger un soir dans le restaurant de l’hôtel c’était très bon également.

Superbe hôtel calme malgré qu’il soit situé en plein cœur de Thamel. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et le staff très agréable et serviable. Je suis venue dans cet hôtel il y a 11 ans et j’y suis revenue encore cette fois. Toujours aussi chouette. Un havre de paix au cœur de Thamel. Je recommande vivement!

Centrally located small hotel with nice, spacious and clean room (room 404 on the top floor). Very nice and quiet garden to sit and relax. Good breakfast and coffee. Very nice, uncomplicated and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay very much and will for sure return to this hotel if we ever come back to Kathmandu.

The ambassador garden hotel is a very nice local hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. The location is spectacular! It is located in the middle of Thamel. You can walk to many shops, restaurants, clubs. And bars in the area. It is extremely nice for the price! Bicky and all of the staff were extremely nice and courteous to me. I am a 23 year old solo traveler from the United States. I spent 5 nights with them total. The room was excellent. There was hot water with a nice shower. Bicky was extremely professional and extremely nice throughout my entire stay. He gave me many tips an guidance for roaming Thamel. We had tea many times throughout the day and I am very lucky to have stayed at this location with such professional staff. I plan on coming back again and I would highly reccommend this location over any commercial location such as Marriott or Hilton. (Bicky is a receptionist that shows the utmost professionalism at the hotel).

Extraordinary staff and great location with relaxed and authentic Nepali atmosphere. The hotel has beautiful local architecture with comfortable rooms, hot water and all immenedies. Tasty breakfasts included in a beautiful and relaxing court yard. Fast internet and staff able to answer all questions Nepai, and assist in all travel, purchasing, and trekking needs...planning to extend my stay here by a few days!

Very good hotel, Staff is helpful, familiar and good behave, All facilities available, situated in thamel. Hotel is clean, service is very good, central location, 5km away from Kathmandu Airport Good thank you all of you

We had such a shocking experience that within 15 minutes of checking in, we booked a room at a different hotel and moved there. First of all, there was no reception or welcome desk at the lobby. It took us about 10 minutes to find someone at the hotel - it was an old gentleman, perhaps the manager. And he was the only staff on the premises. When we asked where were the staff, he said he sent they were all away (perfect timing). Our room was on the 4th floor, with very steep, old steps and no elevator. Once we got to the room, we got a lot of shocks. Having visited many hotels around the world, including Nepal, we have some basic expectations about amenities of a hotel room. But the room and bathroom were grossly underequipped. Everything seemed very old and worn down, bearing absolutely zero resemblance to the booking websites you will see. Anyway, we did not have the courage to spend two nights in this dilapidated shack which was an earshot away from Purple Haze, one of the busiest and most popular rock bars in Thamel. The room does have a quaint, old-fashioned charm about it. That is the only reason I am giving it a two-star instead of one. But that's all. It's not a full-service hotel - there wasn't even any staff to give any service. Just the elderly manager running about doing it all on his own. This was more of a Bed and Breakfast or even a high-class Hostel than a proper Hotel. But then again, why would someone want such a worn-down bed and breakfast with no service, when you can get much better service hotel in Thamel at less than half the price. The overwhelmingly positive reviews of this property baffle me. I fear there may be some scam, or worse, discriminatory service going on here. Anyway, I will not recommend this to anyone who is travelling for relaxation or leisurely vacation. If you're more into DIY and like the quaint, barely functioning old-fashioned charm- it may be worth a visit.

The staff were very attentive and helpful, always willing to help and cater to your needs. The Cafe is in a very nice calming garden that is a nice relaxing change from the rest of Kathmandu and a great place to unwind and read a book after a busy day.

Bicky’s professionalism and service oriented attitude made our short stay pleasant and enjoyable. The garden is a wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy a cold beer and great food. The rooms are very clean and provide all amenities one could ask for. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone. And the price is extremely reasonable considering everything that is provided.

Great spacious rooms, delicious complimentary breakfast that can cater for all dietary conditions, served next to a beautiful natural garden. Room service is great, showers are hot and customer service is very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Stay for one night clean with comfortable beds, and lots of hot water. Bicky and his staff made us feel right at home very professional and the food is amazing, especially the Breakfast that Bucky said would amazing when we checked in and he didn’t disappoint.
