"The room was quite clean, and although I chose a small single bed, it was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The breakfast was reasonably priced. However, there was no elevator, and it took a lot of effort to carry my large suitcase up. The place is close to the attractions, but since it was my first time there and I wasn't familiar with the area, I followed Google Maps along some less-than-accurate back roads. The navigation wasn't very precise, and the paths were quite winding, so please be careful."

"We were bicycle touring unsupported for two months in Germany and Switzerland. We stayed in hotels big and small. This hotel’s best feature is its proximity to the train station and restaurants. This hotel has the ambience of a hostel. Of the approximately 40 different hotels we stayed in, this is one of the two worst hotels. The positives: location to train station and restaurants, hotel room is plain but clean, water pressure in room was strong, breakfast buffet was simple but OK. The negatives: pregnant blonde woman at reception has a nasty attitude and has no concept of how to speak to the public who are paying her salary, reception open only limited hours. Bottom line- we would stay here again only if pregnant blonde haired lady didn’t work there anymore. Just don’t expect much in the way of this hotel’s accommodations. I recommend staying at one of the hotels closer to the train station."
