We had the best stay at Tikitam. The staff were some of the kindest, friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. They constantly went out of their way to make sure we were having a happy stay. The hotel is beautiful, situated on a massive garden, the rooms are so nice with super comfy beds and strong AC and the pool and private beach is really nice too. But perhaps the highlight here is the food - so delicious! They did a different themed night each night, and it was all amazing. If we ever come back we will definitely stay at Tikitam again!!

What a great hotel with very nice villa’s and really personal and warm approach from all the people who work there. They want you to have a nice time. Food is very nice, drinks also. The avocado smoothie is really good! Villa is great. We had number 7 Swahili villa. Every day we were surrounded bij friendly monkeys and other beautiful animals. It is just a beautiful peaceful jungle near the beach. We loved the sea safari provided by the hotel by Juma. He was a great guide. Showed us the beautiful starfish and other magic of the sea. We had several really nice massages. The people of the reception were very helpful and kind. Also everybody that provided the food and served us by the pool. And of course the Masai people who provided safety. It is very nice that as a guest you can give your tips in a tip box with the reception and when they open the box, every employee gets the same amount of the tip. So also the people that work to make your vacation great and you don’t see. We had the honeymoon package and we felt really spoiled. It was good.

I stayed at a few hotels in Zanzibar and here it is different - they preserved original bush with its fragrances , enriched with flowers and some local endemic plants , banana tress etc . Authentic African style architecture is placed inside this tropical botanical garden , with tastefully decorated rooms, each has a different theme and local art or decoration. Almost a private pool on the secluded beach, drinking a real coconut water makes it wonderfully relaxing and the life slows down….The cuisine is absolutely delicious. At evening dinner they have some life shows - I enjoyed Zanzibar traditional tharab music band . Must see.

Ons verblijf in dit hotel was echt een teleurstelling. Het verdient absoluut geen 5 sterren. De grootste misleiding was dat er helemaal geen strand is, terwijl dit wel op de website werd beloofd. Daarnaast was het eten erg eentonig, zeker niet wat je zou verwachten van een luxe resort. De muziekkeuze is oud en niet modern en past niet bij de hype en trend van Zanzibar. Al met al een zeer onaangename ervaring, en zeker niet de prijs waard die we ervoor hebben betaald. Ik zou dit hotel absoluut niet aanraden.

Perfect Sauberkeit und Service, tolles Essen.Personal sehr höflich. Wunderschone Anlage mit so viel Respekt vor der Natur🌺🌺🌺Das Essen ist sehr gut und abwechselungsreich sowie frisch, Spa service so entspannend und professionell. Ich war wirklich sehr zufrieden🙏👍

Ein wunderschönes, ruhiges Boutiquehotel mit einem großartigen Service. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Das Hotel hat maximal 15 Gäste. Baden im Indischen Ozean ist problemlos möglich, wenn man die Tide berücksichtigt. Frühstück und Abendessen wird in Buffetform serviert - und das mit einer sehr großen Auswahl an regionalen, frischen Lebensmitteln. Vor allem wer Fisch mag, wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen. Im ca. 5 km. entfernten Dorf Kiwangwe gibt es zahlreiche kleine Geschäfte und auch zwei ATMs, wo man Bargeld ziehen kann. Im Tikitam sollte man unbedingt auch mal Sunis Spa für eine Massage besuchen
