"I could “just” say that this hotel provides the best value for money you can find , but that doesn’t even begin to describe this GEM of a place. Perfectly situated for easy walking everywhere, the whole facility is immaculately clean, nice pool (not fancy but more than adequate), breakfast was way better than expected with home made jams and freshly made omelette. Above everything else - the staff was the friendliest you will ever find !!! We went to a beach, and the lady offered us to take an umbrella that someone left there …. (NEVER happened to us)"

"My family and I had a great 5 night stay at Istia. The view is incredible and the property is well-maintained. The condos are well-appointed for comfort and relaxing. We cooked breakfast and other light meals. Matina is always available for assistance and recommendations. You will need a car or rely on taxis if you rent here. We rented from Takis Rent a Car, which was also a great experience. It was a great stay and we are sad to say goodbye — for now!"

The air conditioning was paid for at an unspecified rate (€10 per day). The bathroom fixtures were indecent, and the water flow was ridiculous (it alternated between hot and cold, weak, and strong, without any adjustments on the mixer). Poor service, and breakfast had very few choices."
