The rooms are clean fresh and spacious with all amenitie.kindly put a phone in the rooms. the only problem was showering with cold water and was given a room with ababy coat and we did not have a baby.the rooms are very affordale,food was great and staff were professional i liked their manager who officially welcomed us into the hotel. The hotel has a swimming pool which is clean. You can hold parties and ceremonies

Over rated, terrible food. We stayed here one night as part of our Kenyan tour through Ba Tours. For a start, they did not have our requested twin bed room and allocated separate rooms, which was not what was requested. Then when we went to what was supposed to be the restaurant, there were no tables set and we had to ask if we were in the right place. It looked like a conference room, and there was a TV blaring. Horrible atmosphere. We were finally given a menu, ordered...and then waited 45 minutes for our entree. It was well overcooked, as was the fish for main, smothered in burnt, fried onion, along with vegetables dripping in oil. Very unpleasant. Breakfast the next day was a buffet - the same oily vegetables were on offer, but at least we could have an omelette - but again fried in oil. Then locked out of one of our rooms because the card did not work, nor did the replacement card that arrived ten minutes later, so it took over 20 minutes to get back into the room. They had not prepared our to-go lunch box and when we went back to collect it a few hours later, it was also inedible. This was not a resort, it was a poorly run conference centre with terrible food and poor service.

We made an online booking and were greatly disappointed. The photos on the website and the description on sizes of the rooms are not a true reflection of what they offer. The rooms are tiny. We had booked aking-size bed with a view (as described on the website), only to be given a queen size and informed the king-size ones do not come with a view. The reception service is wanting. Their was no one to show us to our room or help us with the bags. We did this ourselves. We opted to cancel the booking & find an alternative as we did not want to spend our stay feeling duped; and they were to give feedback on deposit refund / a credit note useable at e.g. the restaurant, but no feedback has been given to date. Book this property in advance at your own risk.

Worst experience we had during our entire Kenya trip Horrible. I will give the entire details 1. This stupid place is the only place I have ever visited that has a 1hr lunch time from 2-3pm . 2. Food quality is horrible. Basic things like labelling the served out food is not done so you have to open all the boxes and by seeing the food understand what it is. Goes without saying that quality quantity and taste is sub standard. Cleanliness is best not spoken about. 3. Rooms are filthy with cob webs and dust. Windows don't close. There was no water in the washbasin. 4. And the best part is neither the staff not the management gives a dam about it. Good luck if you find someone to complain. . Never even think about staying at this place.

We three popped in to let William, our boy, swim. Seduced by a lift from the classy entrance building (no less; granite & teak abound, lovely toilets, we found ourselves ordering food! After a bit of a wait - we were warned! - a bolognaise for me and a battered fish and chips for Serah and William arrived. My bolognaise was more stew than ragout tbh; more seriously a little of the spaghetti was cool. It was nice if oddly creamy but I enjoyed it. What brings us back will be the rich brown crispy butter, the crunchy proper chips and a side-salad, a bit meh (Kenya is not a country of salad!). Serah had vanilla and strawberry ice-cream she liked. But it was the battered fish that stole our hearts. And I'm British so I know my fish 'n chips. William didn't get his swim. He hired a bike and amused himself while we laughed at him. And all in the beautiful gardens of this lovely hotel. Tomorrow we'll return. I'm trying the buffet, it looked wonderful. Thanks chef, and our solicitous waiter whose name I should have got.
