Do not book this hotel at all . The reviews are all fake . The room has water seepage marks all over , the room has mold . Bathrooms doors and other drawers are broken . Curtains and linens are dirty . Sticking smell in the room and the bathroom . Over and above there are roaches in the room . Just look at the dates of the certificates . Images are attached . The Government should take a strict actions against such hotels which is spoiling their tourism .

Hotel in middle of the citu. Very bad experience, not providing hot water for all day, only supply in the morning, no facility of kettle in the room. Old furniture. You should choose better option. .

Please, Please, Please believe me this is a perfect cheating with ***ipulated pictures. Rooms contains rats and spiders, toilet not clean, not maintained rooms, worst in my life. totally disappointed seeing this fake pictures. Worst experience, once again believe me or otherwise you will get cheated with fake images

One of the terrible service ever got. Rooms are extremely small. Bathroom conditions please don’t ask. There will be absolutely no mobile network in their ground floor room. There will be a senior person available at reception who will only allocate rooms. Reception staff is just a showcase. They will allocate 1st ground floor room. Staff are extremely rude & arrogant. I asked for a glass of water they said go to your room there is water bottle in the room. Room conditions are extremely pathetic. I will recommend not to book that hotel you will get ***y hotels in front of that hotel.

The hotel does not have proper parking. The vehicles are parked on the road. It is a very poorly maintained old property, not at all clean. The restaurant has a very bad odor. We went and had to go back to the room. The food is ok taste wise. The only advantage is it is at a walking distance from Vivekananda Rock Memorial. They charge you a lot and we did not find it value for money. We had to stay for a night so we somehow ***aged. Overall, not a great experience at all.

Good hotel near to everything at Kanyakumar. Almost everything is on walking distance. Kanyakumari Temple, Main beach, Ferry point and main market everything is on walking distance from there. Rooms were good neat and clean. The only problem was with the breakfast they provided. Was not good. I was surprised to see even south Indian food was not good in South India.

I am not a person who normally posts hotel reviews on the internet but I had to take the time out to review the monstrosity which is “The Gopinivas Grand”. There is nothing “Grand” about this place. Like umpteen others, we were also fooled by the paid reviews on Tripadvisor and Agoda and booked this so-called 3-star hotel in Kanyakumari for our 3-day trip. The website advertised driver accommodations but we were told that was not possible. Worse, the front desk informed us the parking is 1 Km away. Our driver informed us that the parking facilities were really bad and he had to make do with sub-par facilities. This was just the first of the ***y shocks that we had to endure in this so-called 3-star “hotel”. The room was another shocker. There was a musty smell in the room and the bedspreads had holes all over them. The hotel carefully advertises its front desk and the beds in its pictures in all the travel sites. What they don’t post a picture of, is their bathrooms. Even roadside motels provide better bathrooms. Forget looking for luxury bathroom amenities such as bathtub/shower area and toiletries, this hotel did not even have the basic amenities that one expects from a so-called top-rated hotel. The doors were rusted with the rust dripping on the bathroom floor. From the dingy shower area to the rusted shower head, to the damaged mirrors and handle-less doors and cabinets, this hotel’s bathrooms check all the boxes. If you are thinking that this was the worst of it, then let me brief you on the biggest shocker of them all. RATS!!!. Yes, rats in the bedroom!! I have stayed in ***y hotels in my life but this is the first time I had rats running around the room at night. The hotel refused to accept that there were rats in the room though we showed them a half-eaten snack packet (see attached pics). The second night of our stay, my husband was up all night to keep the rat at bay. If there was no noise, the rat would come inside and run around the room pushing our water bottles, eating from our snack packets and generally, creating a racket. At the end of it all, we just wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible. The only reason we put up with this place for two nights is because Agoda deducted our entire money two days in advance. Since we had booked three rooms for two days, we would have stood to lose a lot of money. In fact, when we were checking in, we saw another family refusing to check in after seeing the state of their room. Wish we had been intelligent enough to have not paid in advance for this horror of a room. The only saving grace in this place was the in-house restaurant, The Curry, which provided some decent food. Lastly, my sincere request to Trip Advisor, Agoda and other travel websites – try to filter out all the paid reviews. Most of us, travellers, tend to believe the ratings and get fooled in broad daylight by these hotels. I realize it is “buyer beware” at the end of the day but this kind of daylight robbery sh

Bad place, bad ***agement, the hotel rooms are bad, old furniture, dirty place , repairs and renovation is on, dirt everywhere, leakage and seapage in rooms, lobby, ***agement is non cooperative, only money minded, doesn't care about customers health and hygiene
