Excellent hotel in Kannur! Probably the best in Kannur. The rooms are very neat and clean and spacious. Highly recommended. Loved every bit of our stay here. Location is also very good. Special thanks to Mr.Santosh. Will definitely stay here when I am in Kannur next time.

We booked 6 rooms at this so-called Resort, I don’t like degrading a business. But the service here was terrible. All the 6 rooms had either a very noisy or a water leaking AC. None of us in those 6 rooms were able to sleep that night. There was no wifi and a very poor network as well. The room condition was not that good. The bathroom - Almost all the showers and Basins were rusty (maybe because of the sea breeze and all) But it looked very bad. The funny part: Our room curtain was not fully closable, so people could see a small part of the room from outside and at that part of the room there was a mirror and through that mirror our bed could be seen from outside. Literally, anyone outside our window was able to see our bed 🫣. Not at all worth the price you are paying for. To the owner, either you change the management or compel them to take care of your property very well. Note: nice beach view by the way

Good for a business travel based on my two days stay there. The property is very close to the railway station and the main business area. Being at the middle of core business, a family trip expecting some luxurious stay may not find it interesting. The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow. If one is driving, then should be experienced to navigate the rush. Once at hotel, parking is very good. Rooms near and clean, breakfast buffet is reasonable. The restaurant attached to hotel was not functional during my stay in Oct 2023.

This Hotel has a super friendly reception desk. The charming ladies are unusually helpful and very attentive. We appreciated that a lot. Another strong point in favor of the Hotel is the nice garden. You can enjoy a cool Kingfisher beer there, but unfortunately not everyday. On certain days they are not allowed to serve alcohol. There is a restaurant inside, but we found it more enjoyable to eat outdoors. Service is quick and the food we had was ok but nothing special. Our room was clean and big enough. Since the Hotel has been refurbished recently, everything was in excellent condition - we particularly liked the well kept woodwork. We will keep a fond memory of the Surya Heritage Hotel and it’s friendly personnel.

During our planned stay from 20th to 22nd October 2023 at Mascot, a booking error sent my family and me from Bangalore to Kannur on the wrong dates. Despite not having the chance to stay at Mascot, I feel compelled to share this exceptional experience. Upon realizing our rooms were booked for the 27th to 29th October instead, the Mascot staff showcased remarkable empathy and efficiency. They promptly arranged accommodations at another excellent hotel, continuously checking on our well-being. Their actions were beyond mere customer service; they restored our faith in humanity and the kindness of people. What impressed me most was the full refund of our booking amount, a gesture of goodwill that deeply touched us. This incident didn’t just resolve a logistical error; it transformed us into lifelong patrons of Mascot. Their exceptional handling of an unforeseen situation has earned the loyalty of not just my family, but also our friends.

Kanbay resort has a great location by the beach and friendly staff, but the rooms were average with no extra facilities. A good option if you’re looking for a simple stay with a nice view.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort and i simply cannot say enough good things about it. From the moment i arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The location was also amazed me.

We spent one night at the Withinn Hotel before an early morning flight out of the airport. The hotel is very close to the airport, a 5 minute taxi ride (IR300), so very convenient. We had a superior room, which was large, quiet, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning, a kettle and tea supplies and a wide selection of TV channels, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom also very clean, and well equipped. We also ate in the attached restaurant, the food very good with a wide choice, well served and inexpensive. Finally, the staff were welcoming and very helpful, making it a very enjoyable overnight stay. Downsides – the morning shower pressure was low, and the location of the hotel is not conducive to exploring the immediate location, but neither of these points detracted from our stay. Highly recommended for a pre or post flight from Kannur airport.
