We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation at Neugal Riverfront Resort, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and the staff greeted us with genuine warmth. Throughout our stay, every member of the team went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy, which made us feel truly at home. The property itself is beautiful—well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed for families. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a scenic view of the surroundings that made mornings and evenings especially memorable. The resort grounds are lush and peaceful, creating a perfect setting to unwind. Dining was another standout. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety to suit both adults and kids. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and always had a smile, making every meal a pleasant experience. Sepcial call out for Mr. Sandeep who attended us throughout our stay. Overall, our stay at Neugal Riverfront Resort was everything we hoped for and more. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and family bonding. With its scenic views and genuinely family friendly atmosphere, this resort is an ideal choice for anyone looking to create lasting memories. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

We spent ~2 night as a big group of ~20 people, desi's coming from all corners of the world, at this resort and the experience was just too great for 5/5 review. We should perhaps have option for 6/5 :) From assisting the group with booking over multiple and spread across emails with upward of 12 people. Great reception, rooms, view, amazing location with river access, phenom service by Mr Pardeep and the food / beverage team, the Resort left nothing unattended. The list of Pros is too long to write while cons is short (1 Con and 2 area for improvement), so going with that. Would recommend freely to everyone. Cons a. Resort is indeed a bit seclusion zone near Palampur, so while room service etc is great till Hills are aive, after 11 to around 7am, Hills and people in Hill go to sleep. So, dont plan for parties starting 2am and you would be very very happy with service like we were :) b. Resort underplays itself, so you have go with faith. They should do better marketing, and can get much better pics etc to sell themselves c. Perhaps a suggestion for the resort, get some play area and activities for the younger kids, may take some of empty space but your guests with toddlers/kids would really lap that up

Amazing view. Good food. Presidential suite is very spacious and offers great view. Congenial staff. River is very easily accessible and almost private. Good value for money. Only difficulty is reaching there as roadworks ***** Pathankot highway are a bother. All in all must recommend.

Again landed at this favorite place of ours exactly a year later. Beautiful as always with superb location , good food ,courteous and efficient staff. The only issue which bothered us a little was a marriage celebration which spoilt the serenity of the place . Therefore it is better to check with the hotel before finalizing the dates and booking but it is a must visit property .

This is a marvelous property, next to the Neugal river and is value for money. The view from every room is mesmerizing and one just cannot have enough of it. The staff was very responsive and the food very tasty. Had the opportunity to meet the owner Mr Hitesh Sharma, a very friendly and dynamic gentleman who personally supervises and ensures everything. Over all a heavenly experience. We are very avid and passionate about travelling and practically travel every alternate month. I can claim with authority this was one of our best experience in the past decade. Guests from anywhere can take a flight to Dharamshala ( via Delhi ) and a taxi to the Resort which is just 28 kms from the Airport and 10 kms short of Palampur town. A week long holiday to this resort ( also covering near by areas ) will be a life time experience worth every penny. We have planned to visit it again next year.

We found the response of persons on reception and others highly unexpected. They are highly unresponsive even if you remind them many times. Very costly, provide only 500ml water per person for 24 hrs. Very poor and highly expensive transport arrangement they provide. The place is at isolated location but gives good view because of backside river. --Shyam Sunder Gupta
