We visited the Tree of Life last week, and it was a truly memorable experience. While it was my first time at this hotel, it holds a special place in my husband's family as an annual stop during his childhood. It was heartwarming to see how this place has grown and transformed over the past 30 years into the beautiful resort it is today. Nestled in the midst of the forest and far from the city's hustle and bustle, it’s a rejuvenating retreat for the mind and soul. Our stay was wonderful, thanks to the warm and attentive staff—from Jackie at the front office to housekeeping and F&B to the cleaners, everyone went above and beyond to make our visit special. Although we encountered a few issues with some appliances in our room, the staff responded promptly and resolved them quickly, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Nelka and Thusitha from the Ayurvedic spa for completing our holiday with the most relaxing experience. The full-body massage I received from Nelka was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’d say it’s worth a trip to Kandy just for that incredible massage! We can’t wait to return.

Perdu dans un écrin de verdure au milieu des montagnes, c'est un endroit magnifique avec une ambiance particulière et une conscience écologique profonde. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet différent chaque jour, les activités proposé (démonstration de cuisine, massages ayurvédiques, etc.) et la piscine à côté du bar. Meilleures vacances de ma vie ^^ Incredible place in the middle of nature with a special atmosphere and a deep ecological conscience. I've really liked the food (différent everyday) the activities (cooking demonstration, ayurvedic massage, etc.) and the swimming pool near the bar. My best holidays ever !

A very calm place. I went for the first time..! very good service. The food is also very delicious. The name tree of life is very matching. Restaurant waiters are very caring. Thanks to the team. Hope to come back. Had a wonderful day. thank you all ofYou!

No welcome drink? Once this was a great hotel but now I am not sure if it is worth it. The hotel needs some serious reformation. I enjoyed the calm and scenic look, this resort has to offer. They are maintaining the property and the surroundings alright. But the rooms need to be renovated. They are pretty old and some equipment is broken. The buffet was average and some food items tasted bad. I cannot recommend this hotel anymore for the price range.

En deux teintes…. Accueil on ne peut plus froid. Suite a un mariage en cours lors de notre arrivée , nous avons été contraint de rejoindre une salle de restauration rideaux fermés,sans lumières… nous avons été forcé de déplorer un endroit sale avec un service inexistant. La chambre reçue sale et vetuste. ( pour une suite familiale, notre enfant s’est vu recevoir un petit lit rouillé avec un matelas de 3 cm d épaisseur. Sdb sale, peinture arrachée,etc) Après avoir fait part de notre grand étonnement et déception, car nous n’avions pas vu ce genre de prestations lors de la réservation, le personnel nous a compris et donné une chambre tout-à-fait différente. Grande, propre, literie confortable, jolis matériaux de qualité bref… comme si ce n’était pas le même hôtel ! À noter cependant que la restauration n’est pas le point fort … nourriture froide.
