艾肯斯旅館(Aikens Lodge)

Der Empfang in der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Das Auto konnte man direkt vor dem Zimmer parken. Das Zimmer war geräumig, süß eingerichtert, aber leider auch sehr hellhörig. Das Bett war leider relativ klein und nicht sehr bequem. Das Zimmer verfügte über ausreichend Steckdosen und einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Das Frühstück gab es im Nachbarhotel gegenüber. Wie überall in der Region gab es beim Frühstücksbuffet nur Plastikbesteck und Pappteller.

Joli petit motel où nous étions de passage pour une nuit. Peu de chambres donc plus sympa, joli piscine, propre, parking devant la chambre, calme. Petit déjeuner à l'hôtel Best Western juste à coté à pieds très bon. Laverie sur place, machines très ancienne mais lessive fournit et cela nous a coûté uniquement 1$ pour le sèche-linge, super ! Seul bémol : fenêtres simple vitrage donc pas très peu d'isolation thermique et phonique surtout. Chambre pas vraiment isolé non plus, nous n'avons pas eu froid mais en automne ou hiver il peut faire froid.. Sinon je recommande, nous avons aimé.

Nous gardions un bon souvenir de cet hôtel où nous avions séjourné en 2015 mais depuis, la qualité de service s'est bien dégradée. La personne à l'accueil en fait le moins possible. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre en arrivant, quitte à ajouter un supplément, elle nous a dit que c'était impossible alors que l'hôtel était aux trois-quarts vide. Le lendemain, la piscine était cadenassée, elle nous a répondu qu'il avait plu et qu'elle avait débordé. Certes, il avait plus mais elle n'avait pas du tout débordé, il y avait tout simplement des feuilles, et il fallait faire un entretien ! Juste à côté, il y a le Best Western qui est une propriété du même propriétaire, et c'est là qu'elle nous a envoyé pour la piscine. Pour le petit déjeuner, c'est aussi là-bas qu'il faut aller. Donc au final, autant réserver directement au Best Western, ou dans tout autre hôtel parmi les nombreuses chaînes qui se sont installées à Kanab, ça revient moins cher et le service est de bien meilleur qualité. C'est dommage pour ce petit hôtel typique mais puisque ces gens n'ont pas envie de travailler, autant aller ailleurs.

Bon hôtel pour notre étape d'une nuit avec piscine (celle de l'hôtel Best western à côté etait aussi disponible). Très bon petit déjeuner compris à l'hotel Best Western (muffins, machine à gaufre, salé, jus..etc). Chambre spacieuse et propre avec frigo. Petits bémols : machine à glace défectueuse et micro ondes seulement disponible à l'accueil. Le lave linge (gratuit) fonctionnait mais pas le sèche linge : on a pu cependant sécher notre linge au landromat à 2 min en voiture, en face du Honey market.

Très bien placé. Chambre confortable. Climatisation bruyante comme bcp d’hôtel aux États Unis. P’tit déjeuner complet à prendre au Best western à 2 mn de marche.

We were loving the retro vibe here. The service was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was (kind of) next door at another hotel. But they do a good job. The hotel is comfortable and very conveniently located but a bit outdated. The pool was out of commission so you might need to ask about that when booking. We were not informed of this. We had a 3 bdroom on a weekend when they turned off all the power in town from 12am - 6am and it resulted in hot stuffy rooms. The screens and the windows didn’t really lock and since our screens were loosely placed we did not care to open the windows and let the insects in. The AC units are in the windows and closing the curtains stops the airflow into the room so that was unfortunate. They could definitely use a window upgrade. There isn’t much storage space as far as dressers and no where in the bathrooms to place anything since there is no counter space. There was one tiny trash can amongst the 3 rooms aside from the one in the bathroom. They could probably provide extra hooks and surfaces and mirrors and things to make it a little more accommodating. It’s a very minimal set up. So if that’s you thing it’s a fine place. I wouldn’t stay again.

As a property it's fine. Very clean with comfortable beds. They're going for a fifties feeling with the decor, which is different, but no microwave and no cable tv. There is wifi. For the four nights we stayed the place never reached even half full. There is no front desk staff until check-in time and after the last reservation has checked in they leave. Breakfast is available at the Best Western a block away. Something broken? Need more towels? Good luck. I don't know how they can afford to keep the place open.

Struttura piuttosto datata da rinnovare. Offre i servizi del contiguo Best Western (colazione, piscina, fitness center). Per poca differenza di costo tanto vale andare direttamente al BW.

The room was cozy and comfortable, but doesn't have a microwave, so be warned. There is a microwave in the office that you can use. The area felt safe and convenient to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included, but you have to walk about 100 yards to the Best Western.
