He estado por negocios y la verdad es que el hotel es un oasis en medio de una ciudad muy acelerada. Esta en una zona tranquila donde están la mayoría de embajadas. El hotel tiene "solera" y eso para mi le da un plus. Muy recomendable si visitas Kampala o estas de paso como fue mi caso. El personal muy amable y servicial. La comida también muy rica.

Tuve la oportunidad de alojarme durante una semana en el Hotel Emin Pasha y mi experiencia fue, en general, muy positiva. Desde el momento de mi llegada, el trato del personal fue excepcional: atentos, amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. El hotel está ubicado en pleno centro de Kampala, lo que permite acceder fácilmente a diferentes zonas de la ciudad, tanto para turismo como para negocios. A pesar de su ubicación céntrica, ofrece un ambiente tranquilo y muy relajado, ideal para descansar del ajetreo urbano. Uno de los grandes atractivos del hotel son sus jardines, bien cuidados y con vegetación exuberante, que crean un entorno sereno y agradable. La piscina, aunque no muy grande, está bien mantenida y cumple perfectamente su función para refrescarse o relajarse. En cuanto a la comida, tanto el desayuno como las opciones del restaurante superaron mis expectativas. Platos bien presentados, sabrosos y con una interesante mezcla entre cocina local e internacional. La habitación en la que me hospedé era amplia, cómoda y limpia, con una cama de calidad y detalles como mosquiteras, aire acondicionado y buen acceso a Wi-Fi. Además, el ambiente general del hotel conserva un toque elegante y clásico, con arquitectura y decoración que reflejan un estilo colonial africano muy acogedor.

Place looks nice but the service is the worst I have ever experienced in Kampala hotels. Wouldn't recommend their band nights. Service was terrible terrible

I occasionally take time for a weekend staycation somewhere in Kampala and this time my choice was the Emin Pasha Hotel and Spa. TripAdvisor continues to offer no 'Good' option between 'Average' and 'Very Good' which is sad as it does not let a reviewer give a thumbs up to a good impression, when 'Average' is too little but 'Very Good' too much. (This is to explain my marking, meaning I would have loved to give a 'Good' mark were it not for TripAdvisors lack of procative response and ignoring dozens of my comments to them) Check in was courteous, professional and swift, with my booking information well reflected on the check in form and after presenting an ID and signing it I was shown immediately to my room. It turned out that I was given a room in the original wing of the hotel where I had stayed before too, but since then two more wings have been added, the most recent one only opened about a month ago with 16 rooms and two one bedroom apartments. I had stayed before, a long time ago, and memories came back when I stood on the balcony looking down into the well manicured garden and admired the trees which over the past 20 years have matured very well. The hotel offered me a relaxing atmosphere which was exactly what I was looking for and I spent some time outside in the garden, as well as on my balcony, having a drink before getting ready for dinner. Dinner service saw first a drink order taken before then taking the meal choice, which one night was Fillet of Tilapia and the other night a Fillet Steak. The Emin Pasha remains an oasis of peace and tranquility in the bustling Nakasero suburb of Kampala and especially the extensive garden offers quiet corners to sit down, read a book or just take in the sound of birds. With the added 18 rooms the hotel is now able to accommodate larger groups and more clients which will no doubt benefit their business. Overall a good choice for a weekend staycation and I am sure to go back to try out the new rooms or perhaps even one of the apartments.

Quiet and relaxing space in the middle of the city. Wonderful grounds, good service, great breakfast and friendly staff, who is always happy and ready to help. Near to the city center, malls and several tourist attractions. A place to stay in Kampala!

It was a wonderful and beautiful experience. Very calm and relaxing environment. The food is really great and tasty. Staff is very welcoming . Highly recommend, it will be worth every penny.
