Das Latitude 0 Degrees war unsere erste Station in Uganda und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Unser erstes und definitiv nicht letztes Mal in diesem tollen Hotel. Die Menschen sind einfach so herzlich und zuvorkommend. Ein toller Service und eine unglaublich gute Küche- Matooke mit Groundnut- ist ein Muss;).

I had the worst Christmas experience at Latitude yesterday. Called in November 2024 to secure a booking for my children and two other families. On 2nd December,I started texting on their booking line with the person I had spoken to when I first called.Spoke to two ladies during the entire time and before the Christmas brunch, to make sure I had got the terms and conditions right.None mentioned that we had to secure our booking with a payment.Being Ugandan and not wanting surprises,I went ahead and asked for payment details and made part payment to secure our booking. Then I was comfortable that I had demonstrated our commitment, and that we would be assured of a table come Christmas day. I asked what time lunch would be served and was told between midday Ugandan time and 5.00pm,lunch would be served with all soft drinks on the house save alcoholic beverages. Two days before Christmas,I got in touch to make sure we were set to have a hearty meal on Christmas day.I was told our booking was secure and adjustments made were noted. So we arrive on Christmas day and the following happened. 1. From the main gate into the facility we knew they were expecting us because they had a guest list that included our family name. Fast forward to the reception,we are ushered in and told to follow a lady who hands us over to another in the serving area.She confirms that we had a reservation and asks us to wait in the sitting area while she finds our table. She returns and asks us to follow her to a table by the poolside, because that's where we asked to sit as we made our booking. While all other tables were decorated our table wasn,t and we have fewer seats than the number of guests we mentioned would join us.Unfortunately the lady that led us to the table walked away before we could sit or ask any questions,claiming to be busy. We sat and wondered what next as every waiter or waitress we asked for help just listened to us and walked away,promising to return but none did.Then I knew something was wrong. I start worrying about the guests joining us because booking Christmas lunch at latitude was my idea. We got up to serve but the warmers at the station were almost empty.I asked one of the waitresses and she said they would be refilled but that didn't happen.At that point am worried about my children because they are hungry and I ask if they can have some fries and meat from the roast station.We got some baskets of fries but we're told the roast wasn't meant to be served at the time. I sat at the table and watched my kids eat plain fries with no ketchup or meat and new I was scammed. As for the drinks,while we were told soft drinks were on the house at booking,the kids managed to get small glasses of passion Fruit juice after I complained to the person I booked with.Then we learnt that we had to pay for the sodas after being told that sodas would be provided on the agreed bill.I asked for sodas anyway because at that point my heart was sinking.Our

We had an amazing time at Latitude 0. The pool was relaxing and refreshing. I had a delicious dish of grilled chicken and potatoes wedges. Our waiter was Isaac who was nothing but great. He attended to all of our needs, always smiling and being extremely professional. We will definitely be back!
